1k hours on the freel trial, and as of now, 850 on the full game; One of the best games ive ever played and one that has held my attention consistently for a very long time- something that has only ever happened 1 other time before. truly a masterpiece

This game's dev team are straight out of a movie:

>First-time developer 20 y.o. that worked in a convenience store with no prior industry experience. he made FPS gun animations and It was just a hobby that was self taught via YT vids. He progressed to work on the game's motion, picture making, camera work, sound design, blue print production, and gun adjustment. Bro was hired on twitter.

>Fresh outta school graduate applied for over 100 jobs and was denied by all; including PocketPair, but they reapplied months later and were hired. this person created all of the Pal Designs from scratch.

>Mr Adachi The lead Engineer: made the game switch from unity to UE5 and the game discarded all previous code in the transition. NOT A SINGLE PERSON EXCEPT ADACHI KNEW HOW TO CODE IN UE5: HE TAUGHT EVERYONE.

>The CEO himself Takuro Mizobe: Had no budget for the entire games production, just decided to ride the sales he got from craftopia, their previous game, if he ran out of money, hed simply borrow more money. forever. until the game was complete. he even had topersonally optimize the game engine 3 DAYS BEFORE launch, despite no prior UE experience.

First Playthrough (Survivor)

>screwed around in the outskirts for a while, didnt know what I was doing for 20 CYCLES.
>entered into the industrial complex, started to understand what was going on..until i entered the next gate..
>chose to go through the shaded citadel without knowing it was harder, died many times from spiders and really hard to see anything
>get stopped by a scavenger roadblock who demands me to submit
>tries to lay down my spear, but throws it viciously into his skull
>his buddies commit nuclear warfare on me
>eventually make it out of the citadel through the shoreline gate
>have an easy time getting around
>until i end up accidentally drowning myself 5 times
>learns how to use the squids as i jet propel myself across the ocean
>giant fish spots me
>extreme panic as i punch my squid near to death begging it to go faster
>barely escape the leviathans maw as i land ontop of Moon's region
>as i reach Moon, i have no clue what she is or what i do with her
>NOM TIME
>immediately regret eating her neuron as she screams in pain
>begrudgingly go forward towards five pebbles as i somberly trek back through shoreline, memory crypts, the leg, and underhang
>make it to five pebbles and try to take the quick route through unfortunate devlopement
>quickly gives up after being eaten alive by funny blue goop over 30 times
>takes the intended route and meets five pebbles
>he gifts me godlike powers
>at this point, im feeling pretty confident in my abilities, deciding to go through sky islands
>quickly descend the wall and make it into sky islands
>quickly beginning to regret my decision as i can not for the life of me get across the massive jumps with the squidcadas
>refuse to give up as i spend an entire night trying to cross a single gap
>quickly shelter up as i prepare to make the final stretch towards farm arrays
>get there second try and relish in my victory, then quickly triumphing over farm arrays the next day as i made my way down into subterranean and into the filtration system, and then pushing my way towards the depths and endlng my slug cat journey as i dive into the void essence!


I truly love this game alot. it got me into a difficult yet rewarding platformer that has a world unlike any other in gaming. i intend to beat every scugs adventure soon, but this first playthrough was truly memorable, especially with going the hard route every chance i got :3

not even an hour into the game and I can assure you my autism filled brain cant stop smacking the air timing combos for things that dont exist. never had a game make doing nothing actually fun <3
