Europa Universalis IV is a wonderful game!! There is a learning curve, for sure, but it is very much worth it. In playing the game, you are tasked with leading a nation from the Renaissance through the Industrial Revolution. At the core of the game is administering your realm with monarchy points, a scarce and vital resource to the progression of your country. Additionally, you must gauge threats foreign and domestic.

For new players, I highly recommend the subscription service which provides ALL of the downloadable/purchasable content which expands the game. The value is good, especially if you are unsure which content you want to buy.

It is an early access game and there are some minor bugs; however, a lot of the game is feature complete. I really enjoy playing this game and cannot wait for future updates.

This game is a lot of fun!! The new Oxbow map and the Co-Op capability make it even more fun.

I used to enjoy playing this game with my friends, however, recent changes to the game and the actions of the development team have made this game practically unplayable for me. It sucks, because I did like playing this game.
