It's wild that in 2022 this game has an input delay on a controller that is almost a second long. Borderline unplayable, because any corners that require you to go from one direction to the other quickly, for example on Imola, are impossible. You HAVE to leave some assists on, or you will just drive straight off the track. Since you have to leave the assists on, you feel like you aren't driving 50% of the time. You can't make corrections on steering, because the input delay is so long. I'm sure it's better with a wheel.

28 hours played after 1 week of having this game. Played 498 minutes yesterday and it didn't even feel like it. If you have responsibilities, don't buy this. This game is all I think about lol.

I have only played this game for 7 hours when writing this review, but so far I have been hit with a falling tree, accidentally destroyed something while trying to kill a rabbit, and have nearly ♥♥♥♥ my pants on multiple occasions because I didn't know that leaving a drying rack out in the open attracts the cannibals. I designed a border fence and then saw it would cost me 144 logs, so I started chopping down trees and a rogue tree landed inside of my base and destroyed half the stuff I had built. Game is great.
