If you want a very basic form of assembly this game is great for that, and understanding how to make the most effective code concepts. Compilers are known to do weird things to get the least amount of CPU cycles, making "questionable assembly" choices. Which I think this game makes you do wonderfully. Besides instilling good concept behaviors, the game is very challenging, fun, and stressful.
