Why do I love this game?
*ITS FREE TO PLAY, wallet wont lose until you give in to the urge to support the devs and buy those lovely looking obsidian cards (cosmetics)
*Core game focuses on 5v5 team combat with communication and teamwork being key
*Core game is fast-paced and which keeps gameplay quick and slick
*Core game (including the objective/stopwatch maps and all the mercenaries) each have a storyline and lore which links them to the main setting, post-apocalypse London (there are even official Dirty Bomb comics!)
*Its not P2P, anything that can affect in game stats can be bought with in game currency, 1 mercenarie costing 50k in game credits can be bought within 3-5 days of playing 1-3 hours per day
*Hackers are near non-existent (out of the 600 hours ive played this game at time of writing, ive only encountered 1 person that i would say are definitely hacking with stuff like aimbot and maphacks)
*Every 3 hours there are 3 missions giving 500-1000 each, another incentive to play
*7 different maps for the objective/stopwatch mode (not including 1 map under remodelling and another map under development), 3 different maps for the execution mode (plant/defuse c4)
*5 different roles, there must be a style that fits everyone (engineers, assaults, medics, fire supports and recons)
*A range of different mercenaries (20 at time of writing) each with unique abilities
*Mercenaries are fairly well balanced, tweaks can be made here and there but there are no "100% hard counters"
*Game revovles around skill-based gameplay, at the end of the day its all about how good you are with your gun and how good you are at predicting what your opponents might do
*Unique jumping mechanics (Wall jumping and long jumping), perfect for parkour enthusiasts but also essential for moving quicker, dodging bullets and grenades and allows players to fully utilise
the environment/map during gunfights
*Good artwork/animation
*Good communication between developers and the community, examples of this include weekly developer videos, FAQing Fridays (gotta love the name) and constant checking up/posting on the official forums, reddit, twitter, facebook and discord pages/server
*A plethora of content is being worked on currently (in a weekly dev video dated 2 months from the writing of this review, Shoe, community manager for Dirty Bomb said that they had hired 20 new people in a month with multiple positions still up for hire; the more devs the faster they can churn out new content)
*and finally because this game never gets boring! Its fast-pace gameplay is addicting and the different types of mercs and abilities allow me to switch playstyles whenever I want to try something a little bit different.

Dirty Bomb is such an under-rated game, trust the community reviews, the forums and reddit, not the metacritic review on the steam page, the outdated reviews from 2015 when the game was released, or the stupidly biased and one-sided AngryJoeShow video also from 2 years back. It doesnt do this game justice because the core game is just so fun and exciting and its only going to get better with the new content that is being developed as your wasting your time reading all the positive reviews.

So just go download the game and have a try, and remember always PLAY DIRTY!

PS: read some of the numerous community-made beginner guides available on steam, reddit and the forums before playing, there is nothing worst then a medic that doenst know that he/she can revive, or a fire support who doesnt know he/she can give ammo, or an engineer/objective specialist that doesnt know that he/she does objectives way faster then normal mercs. If you can do the basics, xp, credits and mercs will be much easier and quick.
