An excellent game that caters to all kinds of players. From the hardcore sim to the casual player, it has options to allow the entire spectrum to have fun. It is a very relaxing game if you are into this type of content, allowing you endless hours of brand new sights without ever getting close to exploring all the areas. With my amount of hours I only have 19% of the map fully explored. While there is lots of DLC the devs put lots of hours and obvious attention to all these expansions and it very much shows. Throw on top of that the ability to add mods via steam workshop with excellent integration that makes it very easy to add and drop mods as you wish.

Lots of fun in a group of friends. The only issue is the menu system could use a lot of work.

After the recent updates the game has changed quite a lot. It has become quite the experience for a almost infitely large space exploration game. This game will continue to get better as the years go on as they have a well defined road map for the next ten years.

This game has a ton of potential, but with that being said I feel it will take some considrable time for a lot of the bugs and other problems to be worked out. My best suggestion would to purchase it when it goes on sale in the future. The mods are pretty good but it should not be the communitys responsabilty to clean up for a devs mistakes...
In its current state I would give this game a 5/10

EDIT: This game has made an incredible turn around. I have to give credit where credit is due to Hello games. Instead of saying I give up on this game and sweeping it under the rug, they continued to update and make the game what it was supposed to be in the beginning. Doesnt undue their transgressions when the game was about to come out. But it does alleviate it. I still am not sure that its the 60 dollar price tag. If they lower it to 30 dollars I think its worth the buy. Also the games way more fun with friends. Congrats Hello Games on turning a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation into a good one!

Yes great game. Big change of pace from normal FPS, Lots of fun lots of hours to be spent on it. Best part is... Its still in beta much more to be added soon. Must play.
