Very lovely and calming game.

Bit of a slow start but with a very appealing pixel artstyle and nice music you can absolutely get lost in this game.

This program did me worse than I did your mom

also it keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashing for me, like using it wasn't already enough of a pain

To be perfectly honest, I'm mixed on how I feel about the game. Firstly the design, it's absolutely amazing. The setting, the glimpses of what used to be, observing the raw, tribal civilisation that formed is increadible. The First area of the game is gorgeous and the story in it is fantasic in my opinion. The gameplay is good, somewhat simple but still fun. It is very easy to abuse tho.

However the second area starts to show how little polish some aspects have. Corpses flying a few meters above the ground, wrong dialoge, floating weapons and alike.

A good example for this was the outpost I cleared. I was told to meet a guy near it and then clear the post with him. However I killed everyone in the outpost before meeting him leading to a weird interaction where he was telling me how outposts and alarms work while the camera was panning over the cleared area.

Another weird situation happened when a group of warriors assembeld for an attack and one of them gave a speech. During which a random NPC managed to lure a massive hostile Machine into the camp. Leading to a strange battle of the Machine attacking some of the NPCs around while the warrior held their speech like nothing was going on.

The worst bit and the reason I haven't touched it in a few days after binging it for 8 hours straight is the strange difficulty. Mindway through a mission making it basically impossible.

The concept is fantastic but the execution is very rough. When the game works it's almost a masterpiece, but when it doesn't then it's frustrating and completely negates any fun you could otherwise have.

Verdict: If you are at all interested in the setting, get it just know that it will have its share of frustrating moments.

Really not anywhere as bad as a lot of people say. It is dumbed down from the previous game in terms of character development but the world is way better than that of FO3 (which is still pretty cool). The best thing about Fallout 4 however is still the mods, you can mod pretty much anything into it you want.

Absolutely astonishing. Beautiful graphics and impressive maps, especially for the engine.

Better map structure than Verdun, but only 4 classes. Not as enjoyable gunplaywise due to a lack in variation, but far more interesting battle structure
