Downloaded a VR mod for this game and ever since I've been playing non-stop with mods. No two replays are ever the same. I you got a decent PC play in VR. You won't regret it!

I took a chance on it since the price was decent. I've seen the trailers and videos of this game that drummed up the hype for me. I thought Starship Troopers peaked with Terran Command but after playing this I must say THIS IS AN INSTANT BUY!

Now hear me out, my PC is not compatible with this game so I can't go above potato graphics but even with just that, this game handles amazingly! I drop in, take a second to stabilize and the rest of the game is more or less smooth sailing. While repetitive, the player base makes every match feel unique to the experience.

Communication is solid, one of the best. Whoever did the voice chat function, I want to shake their hands because I can easily communicate with others and quickly coordinate a solution should I encounter a problem.

Now given that my PC isn't up to par with this game, I'm the most susceptible to crashing and they rarely occur. It mostly happens during night settings and the PC has to render all the flashlights and lighting when the hold-out begins, I'm more inclined that it has to do with my PC rather than the game itself.

Though I'm not gonna lie, it feels a bit bare bones with the lack of certain bug variants and repetitive mission assignments.
Another negative is the player themselves sometimes, there's the one mission type in which the players are to use their communications to the extreme to establish a base, gather resources, complete side tasks and then activate the reactor. I don't know if it's the lack of tutorial but a vast majority are unaware of the map functions or just don't care because there's always that one person that triggers the reactor, forcing players to fight the horde unprepared.

And a bit of players seem to not understand their role as the class they choose to play as. This is more of a pet peeve and players should play the way they want naturally. But for the love of all that is holy can the hunters and bastions focus on the bugs and let the operators get the gas. Also the operators should learn to put the gas cans on their damn backs! To rop it off when it's time to leave people think it's a bug FFA and I'm stuck sitting in the ship for over two minutes.

TLDR
Overall as a Early Access game exceeds expectations and I look forward to future updates to it's eventual final release! I definitely would love to see someone put together a 20-man party and see how well that goes. All with assign squads and taks, man that would be the most smoothest op ever.

Had so much fun exploring and designing my cult. Though it was rough at times I've managed to complete every achievement and achieve godhood. There are a couple of grips like soft locks and silly bugs that may ruin a crusade run and how often I achieve a lot of lag but I think that's more of my PC specs if anything.

There are certain design choices that I would've liked that could've helped especially during the end game. I would like some more diverse jobs like cooks, they could do basic cooking to keep hunger in check without worrying about starving followers. The beginning chest becomes useless after the player fills the floors with paths and I believe gathering resources at base becomes a hassle after a while since every resource generating building has it's own individual chest would recommend condensing those chests if possible since there's no storage limit to my knowledge. I would've love for the gold fleece to not be capped at 200% because 1-shoting enemies are fun and help doing no damage bishop achievements easier.

The only time I've ever needed to look up a guide was when I needed to complete the follower forms.

Fun, adorable, enjoyable combat and simple story-telling experience.

This game is a solid 8/10, 9/10 if you ignore the bugs. Can't wait for the DLC

Been playing this game since the Pre-Alpha. Whenever there is mindless fun to be had this is where I go.

This has got to be one of THE best free to play games ever created. Simple, fun, challenging and top it all Demon Girls in suits! If you seen the memes and/or seen the r34 you should give it a go and make your harem with GLORIOUS SUCCESS! I know I have.

Wish the game wasn't so short but thanks for the internet there's a lot of "Content" to enjoy that spawned from this short and sweet experience. Thinking about drawing these girls myself for fun.

Now if you excuse me got to brush up on my Chocolate Pancakes recipes.

Just play it

I played this game when it was free and prior to the Xen update and I got to say, if you are a fan of the original then you will DEFINITELY love this version. It gives a personal touch in both puzzles and combat.

Fun and addicting, I've spent 10 hrs grinding the first 2-3 areas so I can try most of the classes that are available so I can go with an optimal build early game. Hard to find RPGs that are both fun and entertaining to enjoy with a solid story to be invested in. The create-a-character really what makes this game even more enjoyable.

This was a journey, a journey that gave birth to many adventures that are timeless. If you haven't played this game please do so.

10/10 Would eat Miller's Maxi Buns again
