I went into Draugen without knowing much honestly but the first thing that hit me was the graphics, the landscape of this small coastal town in Norway is breath taking, clearly the Unreal Engine 4 has been pushed to its limits in this regard. The second thing that hit me was a character, whom in a very short space of time made me adore her.

Lissie not only looks great but her voice acting is right up there with the likes of Ashley Burch. I thought maybe her giving commentary to everything we see may end up grating a little but this never occurred. Whoever wrote her dialogue and voiced her did fantastic jobs giving her a personality.

The game runs well on my Nvidia GTX 1080, barely was a single frame lost, the only thing I found a little out of the ordinary was my GPU temperature run a little hotter than normal (83C after an hour) but other than that, perfectly optimised.

Summary:
Pros:
1. Looks beautiful
2. Great Story
3. Outstanding Voice Acting
4. Excellent for fellow Walking Simulator fans
5. Very nice music / score

Cons:
1. Little short but satisfactory for the cost of the game
2. Could fry an egg on my graphics card after I was done.

Okay I admit I dropped the ball on this one, I bought Simulacra upon it's release and completely forgot to play it. It just stayed lingering in my games library since 2017 gathering dust. Ended up running it today and the next thing I knew i'd been sat playing for almost 2 hours straight!

I've played other 'lost phone' simulator games before but this one is by far the best I've played. The story is so intense and builds so much suspense quickly. The voice acting is superb and i liked how it genuinely felt like you were rummaging around someone else's life via their cell phone.

The choices towards the end felt very weighty also. Can't wait to play gain and get some of those other endings.

To say i was anticipating the game would be quite the understatement, ever since finishing Doctor Dekker I've been so eager to play whatever game D'avekki Studio's released next and I'm so glad to say I wasn't disappointed.

Pros:
1. Acting is Excellent across the board
2. Story is compelling and intense
3. Cinematic & Audio quality is of a very high standard
4. Felt like my actions had weight

Cons:
1. The game feels shorter in comparison to other FMVs. It felt like I was only half way through it when the game decided to start wrapping itself up. Almost as if the devs were missing a deadline so kinda just stopped it dead.

Overall a really great experience. 8/10

I feel like such a jerk, I hate to leave a negative review, I'm usually the sort of person that If i don't enjoy a product I simply don't give it any review at all. This game is so underwhelming. I mean its nice to include a game where the main character is deaf, as far as I'm aware that's pretty unique. But experiencing an FMV where nearly all the spoken dialogue is muted to the player is pretty lacklustre. Sorry to the devs but this experiment simply didn't work. The only positive is that the actual movie sequences are of very high quality.

Started off a little worrisome when the voice acting kicked in but then i'm not used to the anime style, wasn't long before I realised the cringe dialogue was in fact intentional and in that regard I dont think the game takes itself too seriously which is a good thing. The graphics are great and in some instances, darn right beautiful. The gameplay style and puzzles are a lot of fun too, sure the puzzles can be tricky but so far it doesn't seem to take me long to figure out what it is I should be doing. Lastly i'm really enjoying how the atmosphere is becoming darker as I progress. The begining started off a little comical and now I'm having a series of "WTF" moments. Great work White Owls Inc.

Really enjoyed myself playing this. I hadn't heard much about it going in so i wouldn't say my expectations were high, although I had heard it was in the similar vain as P.T. Graphically it is but then it's a whole lot more. The atmosphere building is fantastic and the random event generation got me every damn time. I honestly couldn't believe this is still down as Early Access, I mean i know there were one or two locations I wasn't able to visit but as far as optimisation goes it runs superbly too.

I'm not even entirely sure where to begin here. There's just so much to talk about. Suffice to say its almost 2:30 in the morning where I'm from and rather than catching some Zzzz's, Dontnod has me sat in front of my laptop with tears in my eyes as the credits roll on episode 1.

Ever since the game was first announced I wondered if they could actually catch lightning in a bottle for a second time and all i can say is, the crazy fools have done it again. I mean i knew i was going to like it but what I didn't expect was to be this invested in these two new characters so early on.

The story was so rich and interesting, the environment althrough improved graphically still has that LIS charm. The voice acting was of high standard as always and as I've already mentioned be prepared to be hit in the feels. I cant wait for episode 2. Bravo DONTNOD.

I held off writting a review due to some minor first day release teething issues which were thankfully fixed up in the update. The game is great, especially for titanic fans. I was playing the Non-VR version of the game and I have to say there's a level of detail here that genuinly suprised me. The ship's lay out alone is very accurate. During certain missions when I was instructed to find a location, I went off on my own to where I knew the location should be and boom, there it was. I also think the audio inserts of survivor terstionals was a nice tough. Great job.

All I can say about The Final Season so far is Bravo Telltale. Been a big fan since the first season and I honestly didn't realise how much the episodes had changed over time and I'm sorry to say not for the better. It happened so subtly at first that many players didn't realise how much of the gameplay mechanic was slowly being stripped away from season to season until In the end you started putting "Interactive Story" in the intro. With Episode one of TFS not only does it feel like everything we'd lost has finally been restored but even the graphics look as if they've been given a boost. Lastly on an optimisation level this is by far the most fluid and smooth episode i've played to date. 10/10. Well done guys.

I bought the game when it was on sale because it came up in my search for "FMV GAMES", looking at the pictures i thought the game was going to be a sort of comedy that makes fun of the madness of todays dating culture. So i wasn't prepared for just how serious the game takes itself. The first 10 minutes were a total cringe fest but i'm giving it a thumbs up because it made me laugh.
