Just finished the third episode in the series and i'm enjoying this incarnation of the guardians. One of the things telltale has always done best is story telling. So the fact that gamer input seems to be slowly eroding away from these games doesn't really bother me as much as other players. It would be nice if my choices felt like they carried some weight however. There was a moment in one of the episodes where the player has an option to let an opponent win in a fight or not. I selected not to let them win and after the choice played out the opponent swiped my character's legs during a cinematic. So it would seem you can take different routes but they ultimately all end up back to the main intended story line. So yeah, the game IS NOT tailored to how i play. It actually fights me every step of the way. Regardless of this there is enough here to keep you entertained. Good work.

I have to note that my recorded hours spent playing the game isn't accurate, i have in fact completed the game by other means but felt compelled to buy the game myself as i enjoyed it tremendously. I was aware before going in that the devs had attempted to portray what it was like to suffer with severe mental illness, i wasn't sure i was going to enjoy the constant mind chatter that Senua's psychotic mind provides her but surprisingly about 10 minutes in i was really enjoying the help and running commentary that the voices give. The combat feels swift and fluid and i found myself really getting a kick out of ****ing up monsters with style and finesse. Many game mechanics are introduced that i think worked great, i enjoyed parts of the game that used illusion to hide certain paths but i have to admit i didn't enjoy finding shapes in the scenery every so often. I felt these really stunted my game progression to the point of losing interest. At certain points i found myself giving an audible sigh when confronted with a door with red shapes, it was like "here we go again" but other than that, Superb game, story, acting and more importantly a great protagonist.

Really enjoyed the start of this season. I didn't realise how much i missed these characters until they returned. Also episode 1 felt considerably longer in length than most telltale episodes which was a refreshing change. In regards to the choices i felt they were more heavier than last season. Last season it was easy to distinguish the "right" answers from the "wrong". Many times in episode 1 i honestly wasn't sure which was the best way to go. Great Work, look forward to the rest.

So back in 2013 i totally fell in love with Gone Home. The 90's atmosphere and heart renching story just sucked me right in and it was at that moment when the credits were rolling that I decided i would buy any game that Fullbright released in the future.

So needless to say I always had an eye on Tacoma's development. That was until this morning when i saw it appear on the store page and i had no idea it was coming. I about lost my sh*t. So how is the game? Amazing, Beautiful and Fun.

It inhabits all the things you enjoyed in gone home and It also seems to have borrowed a style of story telling from "Everybody's gone to rapture" which i also enjoyed. I really like how you can follow a select group of characters and then rewind and follow another. Very clever feature.

My only negative is my complete disbelief when the game was over. I waited years for an experience that was over in 2 hours? Its as if they were half way making a brilliant game and decided "♥♥♥♥ it... release it now...as is".

It's a shame. The moment you're completely invested its like someone turns on all the lights, opens the door and kicks you the hell out.

Never the less, for the games asking price. It's defenetly worth it.

So i went to college between 2001 - 2004 and my favourite music was punk rock (well rock in general) and i was in my first "serious" relationship in those days. So you can imagine how sureal it was when recieving an in game IM with a link pointing to snow patrol's open your eyes. It's erries how well you've captured the time period here. Even the detail with youtoob and newgrounds threw me off guard. Not only have you captured the time period but as other's have said the conversations could have been lifted directly from passed convos i had with friends. Hope to see more from you in the future.

Being a gamer of my age this was so surreal to play. I went to high school and college around the exact same time periods that were in the game and was also in and out of relationships. Talk about a trippy nostalgic trip. This game was very well created, all the detail was there even down to the icons that were in use of that time. I also got a kick out of seeing the character autocorrect himself from sayin things he shouldn't have said lol. Well done Kyle Seeley. I look forward to playing the sequel.

I'll be honest i'm not the biggest fan of the franchise, i was more of a Michael Myers kinda dude in my youth but the game is intense. Had some teething problems at the beginning with server issues that is usually the case around launch and it wasn't long before these issues were resolved. I enjoy the character system and the unlock-able content and i like how you can work together to work out an escape route or go it alone. Only negatives so far is inside the cabins are a little drab. Copy and paste interior, in some cases identical. Sometimes i'll go into three cabins and each drawer i open is empty. I guess id like to see more objects to find in cabins. I don't mind that Jason is overpowered, can teleport, can grab you as if he were Mr Fantastic because... he's Jason, if i'm not mistaken he's supposed to be overpowerd / supernatural in nature. Lastly i think it would be helpful if you gave us a chat box in-game not just at the lobby.

Please try not to buy into the negative thrashing this game neither warrants or deserves. It's these type of negative reviews that make me take steam reviews with a pinch of salt these days. It's a shame that the majority of people who leave a comment are often ones with an axe to grind. Like many of you I've played these stories out from season 1 to the final episode in season 3 and i have to say Season 3 surpassed my expectations. Admittedly I found the Michonne spin off a little lacking but season 3 felt rejuvenated. You have an interesting mix of characters, People you love, people you hate and people you love to hate (Gabe). Also it felt like your choices mattered this season going by the various outcomes people are having in the final episode. Javier as a main character, although not Lee, was a likable character and i liked how Clem was with him depending on your actions. David was a complete bastard, but a fun to watch bastard. I was invested with Javier's and Kates relationship too. Great finale to the franchise. Kudos Telltale.

This game is a pleasant surprise, and i say this coming from a strong fan of the original prey, till this day whenever i hear the song 'Don't fear the reaper" i'm reminded of that night the roof ripped off the reservation and Tommy's grandfather freaked us out with early signs of dementia. But yes okay, the elephant in the room is... this game is NOTHING like prey. I knew that going in so i treated the game as it's own thing and you know what? the game is pretty solid. I love the atmosphere, the voice acting, hell i even enjoy going from terminal to terminal reading back story and the alternate history of this universe. The weapon enhancments are neat and i'd be lying if i said i didn't get a kick out of throwing all my shi* into the recyler and watch it turn into different shi* The moment i broke the window of Morgan's apartment i knew i was in for a good time.

A very enjoyable movie / game. I didn't think i was going to enjoy the premise as much as i did as i'm not really into the whole 'heist' genre but the acting and production value was pretty exceptional. The story and characters were enjoyable, not counting the moment one character suddenly and inexplicably falls for another which felt a little 'shoe horned' in.
Lastly i really like how it felt your choices have weight.
