This game is fun, has a big world and lots to do. Had high hopes to just look past the rough edges and have some fun since it recently released and went on sale. Don't be fooled, the game is still early access just marked as release for a bump in sales/population. Buyer beware.

The developers seem nice but completely incompetent to run a server. We lost 1 whole day of work building a massive base due to a save file corruption. For some reason we thought it was just an accident once and rebuilt it, after the developer in discord mentioned hourly backups. While rebuilding the server was rolled back again reverting all of our hard work a second time. We were stupid and should have known.

If you decide you want to play this game, don't play on official servers. Run your own server and setup a script to backup saves frequently or join a server you can trust that will not just dump your hard work multiple times. I believe the mistake was actually done on official server save file attempting to manually recover someone else's lost progress and not even a single copy was made of the current data before it was modified and corrupted and then just rolled back a whole day as the solution.

TL;DR
We lost our hard work 2 days in a row. Don't play on official servers unless you plan on frequently losing all of your progress or days of progress at a time. Buyer beware.
