The long awaited Resident Evil Village is finally here!

I am writing this review after completing my first playthrough as a self proclaimed Resident Evil veteran.
This game had my attention from start to finish without any dull moments inbetween.

The explorable environment is huuuugeee compared to the environment of Resident Evil 7.
Resident Evil Village will offer you : A village! A spooky castle! A industrial factory of death! A haunted house! And many more things to see in this latest installment of the Resident Evil series.

And it has so many more hidden places and collectables you probably will miss on your first playthrough.

The story is a bit linear expecting you to follow a singular path but you always have the option to go back and explore previously visited areas even further oftenly resulting in finding weapons and items you might have missed the first time.

As far as action goes, expect it to have more action than Resident Evil 7 but it's really not that far off from Resident Evil 4 one of the older classic Resident Evil installments this game is often compared to.
Still you can expect to get some good jump scares and sweaty hands because of the atmosphere this game perfectly creates for you.

The bosses are fairly simple and don't require too much preperation so if you are looking for a challenge I recommend not starting on the normal difficulty.
When it comes to graphics and sound this game is a masterpiece but please be aware that even with the latest hardware you can expect some FPS drops here and there, I'm hoping this will be patched somewhere in the future.
For me the game has crashed twice in my current 14 hours of playtime but the auto-save this game offers should save you from losing any important progress.

I highly recommend this game and I am unable to stop thinking about all the details I might have missed on my first playthrough! So I'll jump right back in to this wonderfully created world of horror once again!

This is it.

The best Resident Evil game I have played so far and surely one of my favorite games of all time.
Currently I have completed the main campaign three times and played the extra modes for a bit as well.
The atmosphere, design, music and graphics are superb!

For the first time in more than ten years I have found myself using a pen and paper to solve the puzzles presented to me by a video game, and oh boy did it feel rewarding solving them!

Fight and puzzle your way out of a spooky mansion like police station swarmed and infiltrated by zombies and other creatures, only to find out there will be more danger lurking on the outside waiting for you once you get out.

You will be able to find new more powerful weapons, modifications, ammunition and other items to help you on your way.
Still you will find yourself scavenging previously explored locations for ammunition and other items to help you clear one more hallway or one more room because you will be curious about what's behind the next door.

A must play for everyone familiar with the Resident Evil games and a must try for those that have never experienced a Resident Evil game so far.

Resident Evil 2 still has a active modding community if you are into that.
This includes a first person mod if third person isn't your thing.

I can't recommend this game enough!

Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

Resident Evil 4! I have played this game on the PS2/Wii/PC and now once again on PC with improved HD textures.
This game will always remain a classic that you can come back to anytime, there is much to do there is much to see there is much to collect!

The design and ambiance of this game are one of the best in the Resident evil series.
The soundtrack of the various areas in this game and the NPC's snappy one liners are something you will never be able to erase from your mind after playing this game and will come back to you from time to time.

Resident Evil 4 is a game that you can boot up any time and enjoy for a good few hours no matter how many times you have completed the game.

A VR version of the game is coming up soon and honestly I would love to play it all over again from start to finish.

I recommend this game not as a Resident Evil game but more as a action third person shooter that adds a bit more lore to the Resident Evil story.
Running out of ammo, difficulty solving puzzles, and difficult boss battles will rarely or not be encountered in this game.
Instead you will receive a fun easy going Co-op experience you can still play with your friends to this day.

Of course going through the game solo is no problem since the AI for Sheva (your partner in this game) works surprisingly well.
The bosses are one of the main reason I recommend this game, they are by no means difficult to defeat but their designs are great and are exciting to encounter in general.

The screenshots on this Store page are a perfect example of what your Resident Evil 5 experience will look like.
Give it a try! I give it a solid 7/10.

Resident evil 6, in my opinion the most underrated installment in the series.

If you are looking for challenging puzzle's, counting your ammo and planning ahead your next steps carefully like you might have come to expect from the previous Resident Evil games then this game is not for you and you will be dissapointed.

If you like a fun action packed game in the Resident Evil universe with great co-op capabilities you have come to the right place!

You could compare Resident Evil 6 to a rollercoaster, it's fun its thrilling but there is no freedom to go off track.
You pick a character you will play their story and you have no other choice than the follow the directions given to you. Which sounds boring but for a co-op game this is the only way the game will work and I am afraid this is the reason for some of the negative reviews.

Still I had a wonderful time playing this game Solo and Co-op and as you can see by my hours played even after finishing the game I still come back to it once in a while since the replayability of the game and the graphics hold up great.
After finishing the story mode there are multiple other multiplayer modes that are more arcade based if you are looking for a quick 10/20 minutes of fun playtime.

At the moment the game is heavily discounted, if you are reading this and there is still a discount available I highly recommend trying it out.

There is a benchmark tool available on Steam if you are not sure if your PC can run the game properly, but I am sure any PC built after 2012 is able to run this game.

If you are new to the series, welcome!
Even though this is the seventh installment of the series there is no need for any prior knowledge of the previous games in order to enjoy Resident Evil 7.

Do you like 80's slasher movies? How about reading Stephen King novels? Maybe this game was recommended to you after playing Outlast? Then you have come to the right page!

The details put into this game are mesmerizing the ambience is spooky and the story is one of the best you will encounter in your gaming life.

Your first playthrough might last about 10 hours but after finishing the game on normal difficulty you are able to start from scratch in 'Madhouse mode' which introduces a totally different way to play the game.
Other than that the game has plenty of unlockables and secrets for you to discover that you might have missed on your first playthrough.

I myself have completed the game multiple times on my PS4 and am writing this review now after completing it once again on my potato PC that is running Resident Evil 7 surprisingly well.
Still I am encountering things I haven't noticed in my previous playthroughs still I am enjoying the game even convincing me enough to buy the season pass now years after its initial release.

My advice : Try the demo, try the game!
It is on discount now and i'm sure it will be a few times more in the future.
