Summary: Game is sold as full when it's at best early access and at worst an unfinished mess. Seeing as they don't have this game tagged as early access I fear it's the latter so I can't recommend it.

I've bought and enjoyed many early access games. However, they were clear about not being finished products. They also said what was available at release and what were future goals. Two things that are very important when deciding if you're willing to spend money on half a game and a promise.

The visuals are lovely, the music is nice and the concept is unique. The mechanics aren't bad, although there's areas that still need some polish. A lot of quests tell you to gather certain items and bring them to a person, but do not make it clear where or how to get the items. You just have to hope you stumble across them or rely on google/fansites. Even worse are the times characters ask you for several items you won't be able to gather for a while, but after the initial conversation there's no mention of the specifics again as it's forever listed as "the things they asked for" so if you didn't write it down you're, again, going to have to look it up online.

This lack of direction is present in most of the game. Almost nothing you can make can be sold. One of the only sources of income in the game is preaching at the church at the graveyard. And you're told that if you upgrade the church you can earn more money. So you work at it and upgrade the church and then you're told that you can't actually preach anymore until you buy a citizenship. Which costs a lot of money, which you can no longer get from preaching in the mean time.

You unlock blueprints to make things by way of a tech tree using red, green and purple 'knowledge points.' You earn these by harvesting/producing items, with different actions producing different types. Red and green are easy to come by, so purple will usually be your limiting factor after the first few steps. It can take quite a while to gather enough of them, which is why it's so frustrating when you finally unlock that blueprint you want to make only to find out that you can't actually produce the item because it relies on a resource locked by another tech tree item. The entire tech tree is interwoven in a complex and invisible fashion.

The story is non-existant. You're literally dropped in the world and after the first few minutes seem to accept that in order to get home you're going to have to first become a proficient graveyard keeper, preacher, farmer, alchemist, fetcher, shoemaker, donkey whisperer and rat catcher. There are a few interesting parts of the lore/setting that are mentioned, but aren't included in the game.

Overall, the game feels like they tried to include far too many things, and ultimately ran out of money forcing them to release a whole lot of very shallow gameplay and cut content. Trying to complete the simplest of tasks will usually require hauling things from one end of the world to the other. One. At. A. Time. Expect a LOT of very monotonous grind, which although common for this genre of game, is not very fun when taken to such excess.

If the producer/developers are serious about finishing this game I still feel it has a lot of potential. But they really need to flag the game as early access, clarify which portions of the game are complete, as well as set down a clear list of goals they'd like to complete for polishing current content and adding in future content, as well as a rough ordering of priority for these goals.

If instead they're considering this to be a final, or near final, version of the game. Then clearly they've simply given up and it becomes another product that promised far too much it couldn't deliver on. In either case, I wouldn't recommend spending your money and time on this game, as you just won't get your return on it.
