Nice Demo, but please don't chase Lu Bu. After a long time I think is going to be very good Dynasty Warriors game. Finally.

Day 1 Buy.

Okay, I wanted to hold back with my review until I was done with the game, but this game is peak 11/10 at least for me. I already played Granblue Fantasy 10 years ago when it still was on PC/Mobile.
It has everything I love, waifus, fun battlesystem. it's like a mix out of Monster Hunter. Elden Ring (just a little bit thought), these final fantasy 14 raid bosses, QTE Sessions, dynamic boss fights, all these flashy anime attacks and I swear the group attack is insane I love it. I am going full weeb on each Full Group Burst Attack shouting the attack name with my characters.
I think I am almost 1/3 done with the story and will probably have to singleplayer/multiplayer grind for endgame so I understand people who just played this game for story giving it a negative review.

But since I love all of these above mentioned games, this game is perfect for me to lose my time into. I will finish this game and grind and then maybe update my review. Beautiful voice acting and flashy visuals stimulating my ADHS Brain. Only thing I would say is, that this game might be a bit easy/normal when playing on the hardest difficutly, but maybe I am just too used playing with my OP 200 IQ gamer friends. Bought the game at 40% Sale defnitely worth. MIght buy DLC Tweyen when shes on sale, cause I love 2D Women.

Edit: I take everything back about the difficulty. The spike is perfect (at Hard)!

A really good game, dev is very responsive, listens to feedback constructively, gives solid arguments for their decisions and compromise rationally on fixes and changes. As a former Store Manager, this is how I wanted my job to be. Co-Op Mode implentation would be peak. But it's already a good game on its own.

As a former Store manager, I recommend, Co-op would be awesome.

I thought this game is going to be a simple fighting game, but it looks like the devs really put their soul into it for making a good fighting system. Don't know how balanced each character is, but some definitely feel easier to play. I'm more of a Hololive than Fighting game fan, but I like it. It's a very good game especially being free.

Looking forward to the next updates!
And the girls were so amazed by that game that they even recorded their voice lines for the dev to free update it.
Also waiting for my oshi to appear.

Spoilers btw:
First of all, big kudos for Matthias Linda, who created the game.
Loved the Story. It kinda felt like Matthias took something from every RPG you can get, and implented them into his game, e.g. Ex High Ranking Judge, is now a Bandit/Pirate/Thief and some more. But it's not something negative, I would even say that I've liked that. Characters are well written, but some felt like left out.

Gameplay was good, innovative, I really like the "Interruption" part during boss fights, however they fell off later in the game. It's hard to describe, but I was extremly motivated playing the first part, 2nd part felt then kinda meh, 3rd Part extremly hyped again and last part just fine. Mini games were funny, class system pretty innovative with the skill system. Completing Side Quests is very satisfying, since they make you stronger. Love the Sky Armor Battles.

Music and Art is amazing. Flower Fields is my favourite.

There were some minor bugs, but not hard game breaking.

I don't want to go too much into details, but I recommend it for people who want to have a nice RPG game.

This game is a 9/10 for me, but I would give an additional point for Matthias creating this game alone.
