Pretty fun for a hero shooter, they definitely need to work on the optimization of this game as it runs poorly on any graphical setting. As soon as Doctor Strange opens up a portal it makes the entire lobby loose like 30 frames. Also please don't screw up this release and force people to buy heroes otherwise this game will die.

I've pretty much almost 100% strangers of paradise, and let's just say it's pretty weird but not bad for a final fantasy spin off. The combat and job system is cool and has a lot of depth and it plays like a nioh game since it was made by team ninja.

However the story is not that great and is honestly kinda confusing for like 80% of the game till you get to the end game portion when all the lore is dropped on you.

Voice acting is okay and visuals are decent but you can definitely tell it does not have the budget of a mainline ff game which is perfectly fine. The crystallization of enemies more than makes up for it.

Soundtrack is of course always really good thanks to Square Enix as their sound team never seems to miss.

The endgame content is pretty expansive but it honestly just got too repetitive for me and you need to grind for a lot of gear to get a crazy build to even survive in the later stages.

It's worth a try but definitely only pickup this game while it's on sale.

It only took 16 years and several terrible mobile game sequels to get us here. Worth the wait honestly.

I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a live service shooter like this, maybe Destiny 1 launch. Needless to say the magic is here, I can't stop talking about the game with my buddies and we all look forward to playing it when we get time. Thank you for making the game fun and being involved with the community so much Arrowhead.

Great game to play on the deck. This game has huge potential and I would gladly pay for more than $5 for the experience.

One note to the developers is that there are a few visual bugs within the well-keeper menu and the potions guy. The outline to show what item you are hovered over become enlarged/overlaps other items. Sometimes you can't select which item to buy from the well-keeper because it will highlight the whole screen leading me to have to use the touchscreen. Other than that I've only experienced some minor frame drops but I'm sure overtime with more optimization it will run better during those heavy waves of enemies.

This soundtrack is the only thing that keeps me sane when playing this game.

First of all just play First chapter before diving into this game because you will be picking up right where you left off in the previous game. Unlike the first game this is not a slow burn at all and in fact you better be strapped in for a ride that does not slow down and only gets faster. Everything comes full circle and Falcom just shows they know how to write a good story. Not to mention the amazing soundtrack, hats off to Falcom sound jdk. This game is truly a masterpiece and it cannot do you any wrong to play it through. It was well worth going back before continuing on with the cold steel games because Estelle and Joshua are extremely lovable characters as well as the rest of the cast (looking at you Olivier).

Terrible buggy mess. I could never extract once because the game would disconnect me and boot me back to the lobby for no reason what so ever. No network issues on my side. I had various other game breaking bugs as well which just made the whole experience worse. At least make it playable before putting this garbage on the market.

Haven't had this much fun with an Halo game since Halo Reach. Good stuff.
