The "Next Gen"(?)-Update is the next mistake in the ever growing list of mistakes made by Bethesda.

1. It isn't an update but more like an intentional downgrade. Nobody can tell me that it isn't intentional, since Bethesda said they know that it will cause problems leading me to think they knew as well that their PC community will hate them for it.

2. The update changes basically nothing. Yeah, it adds some stuff, like the Skyrim AE did, but the latter at least had some decent CC content in it. It was superior in quality and quantity.
If you consider adding some armor customization option and a few weapons "Next Gen" you should see a doctor urgently because your brains must be about to fall apart, Todd and colleagues.

3. It breaks most if not all mods, except for the CC mods. Again, Skyrim AE did the same, but at least had some justification of existence due to the facts mentioned above.
One could say that Bethesda just forgot that mods are the main reason why 10-15 years old games are still actively played on PC, but thats a lie. They know it exactly, they simply show that they don't care

All in all this "update" is a hard but unconvicing slap in the face of everyone who plays Fallout 4 on PC. It's an insult to the community and basically the software equivalent of a middle finger.

As much as I love their games, I won't support Bethesda in the slightest until they do something to redeem themselves. Anybody who has not lost all respect for themselves should do the same. Third strike, final strike.

Back in the day I bought the game expecting some ridiculous, buggy trash game to be amused over and was disappointed that I actually got a well thought game with working mechanics that was actually fun.

The game is neither complex nor has a great game depth but it works.

Nothing to spend 1000 hours on but certainly worth a try.

First, I want to say a big "♥♥♥♥ YOU" to almost everybody who is saying "Mum, this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not even finished". The Developers didn´t want to release the game that early, but patience is rare in this world and the developers were "forced" to a release by the community... It´s your own fault, so don´t complain. And no, it is not EA-Like... EA wouldn´t develop it any further.

To the game: Yep, it isn´t finished. It isn´t even almost finished. But it is close to what I expected. And in 6-12 Months it will be a good game, if the developers keep going the right way.
