Well, it's not a bad MMORPG. The only thing I have to complain about it so far is that the first mount I got to tame was a lame-ass unicorn.

Okay, I know you're probably thinking, "A UNICORN? So WHAT???"... well, let's just say that when you ride a unicorn it leaves pretty little sparkles in a trail behind you, and yeah... fun to ride until some dudes walk into the room and see you playing a game where you're riding a sparkling unicorn.

Sooo... you know... how about instead of a sparkling unicorn, the first mount can be a regular looking horse or giant non-sparkling lizard... you know... it's kinda like getting caught peddling a pink-scooter. A pink scooter with those plastic stringy things on the handle-bars. I just don't want anybody thinking I like unicorns... because no, it was MANDITORY for a QUEST to TAME and RIDE ONE. It WASN'T MY CHOICE. Okay?

Ugggggggghhhhhhhh... I have to wait a couple of hours.... again.

Excited. I downloaded it.

Sadly it crashed... and crashed... and crashed.

I tried to fix it, did a bunch of things, googled a bunch of "fixes".
Nothing worked.

Deleted it from my library.

Realized that maybe it was because I disabled "nProtect GameGuard" from my computer's Win 10 Services.
Enabled "Automatic".

Excited, I redownloaded Wildstar thinking I fixed it.

Nope. Still crashes... and crashes... and crashes.

Sadly, I delete it from my library.

Now...looking at Riders Of Icarus.

Now... looking for a PS4 and a GAEMS Vanguard or Sentry.

Now... I am still certain that WoW might still be better than risking my time to play Wildstar.

It's fun at first, even with Rico's awkward body physics (feels like playing with a balloonman, Rico has no "weight"), but after several hours the game gets boring and gameplay feels stagnant and uninteresting. The lack of ammo drops (like the ones in Mercenaries {Pandemic Studio 2005}) resulted in a rebuying of expensive weapon drops at $50,000 a piece instead of $2,000-$3,000 for ammo drops... and it unfortunately affects the gameplay in its unefficiency. Plus... the car/truck driving was stiff and not as fun as the driving in Sleeping Dogs- also from Square Enix.

The world map is huge with plenty of places to go, and its scenery is incredibly diverse with snowy regions and tropical "Far Cry 3" locales... but the gameplay rarely changes. I don't know if I would pay any more money for Just Cause 3... maybe if it played like Sleeping Dogs I might buy it, but very unlikely. It is BORING.

Make the game compatible for the XBOX 360 controller and not fidgity, and add steam achievements... then I'll play it. I know I shouldn't complain since I got it for pre-ordering GTA 5; BUT, It doesn't mean that I have to play an inferior version of the incredible game I played on my PS 2 back in the day.


Come on R*... give a game worth giving. Heck, even GTA-Vice City is a better complimentary game than this.

I Love This Game! I Played It So Much When It Was Beta And Before It Ever Came To Steam. THEN... When It Came To Steam, I DL'd The Steam Version And Played It Again!!! Eventually, Much Like My Playing Of Borderlands 2, I Had To Put It Down For AWhile To Focus On Other Games.

But NOW... Now I Think It's Time To Give It A Go... AGAIN!

It's Been A While, But After Nearly A Year Of Not Playing There Has Been Numerous UpDates And Some Major Expansion Add-Ons That Have Even Furthered The Greatness That Is PATH OF EXILE. I Really Want To Go Back InTo The Game With My Dual-Blades Ragin' And See How EveryThing Plays Out Since My Last Visit To The Realm Of Wraeclast.
