Vibrant, atmospheric, dynamic, colourful, detailed, immersive, breathtaking, intricate... I've exhausted my vocabulary. A masterpiece from CD PROJEKT RED and an indispensable game if you're a fan of the genre.

Where to begin ? A great game with some of the best graphics on PC that borrows stealth from Assassin's Creed and combat from the Batman Arkham series to forge an absolute masterclass. Also, it adopts a refreshing new system named "nemesis" that punishes the player by improving the strength of the foes that defeat you. The surround sound and the voice overs are also top notch.

All of the above gives this game a thorouhly deserved 9.5/10.

Ps: There's Gollum/Smeagal !

This is my very first MMORPG and I get the feeling that it's going to be really hard to concentrate on my studies this term, great game !

Friends, this is the time to purchase Rome II ! At first, the game was awfully buggy but now, thanks to the incremental patches, the game has become great. The AI has been vastly improved thankfully, seeing as there's no point having gorgeous graphics coupled with lacklustre gameplay. In addition, is size of Rome II is huge with countless possibilities, there are also plenty of different units, especially with the Rome faction which enables differents strategies. Ergo, if you're an avid strategy game player or if you weren't keen on the concentrated map of Shogun II and its small unit pool, this is the game for you !

In my opinion a great game and a worthy reboot of one the most popular gaming franchises ever. Graphically top notch, up there with the very best, ideal for showcasing the power of my new PC rig. Additionally, the storyline has an emotional edge which keeps the player captivated throughout. The only area I'd criticise is the simplicity of the tomb sections, which take two minutes to work out at most.

Overall a fantastic game and emphatically recommended for all intrepid gamers !

I strongly recommend this game for avid strategists. Your objective is to nurture a civilisation and become victorious over all others. There are numerous victory possibilities thanks to a large range of ingame concepts from tourism to science. Each civilisation has its unique units/buildings as well as an ability through their leader. Moreover, the dedicated mod workshop enhances the game further still, bestowing upon it astronomical replay value.

Give it a try, you won't regret it !
