The performance issues and quality are unacceptably bad for a game as anticipated as this, but the refinements to the core gameplay and new tools for every weapon are so fun that it almost makes up for the fact the game(for me) looks like it couldve come out in the early 2000's for ps3 and barely scrapes 90 fps on near lowest settings with DLSS + frame gen.

It may have taken my pea brain 2 separate attempts to get a fully modded setup working as I wanted too.. but man was it worth it, this game is great

I definitely had a lot of fun with this game.. The art style is beautiful, and gameplay is well rounded between combat, puzzles, and platforming. The only nitpick I can think of is that some fast travel points are a bit far between. I ended up beating hard mode with 98% completion in around 7 hours (save file time). If you stumble across this review, the Ori series is great, and you should buy it.

what if we got magicite remastered i think that would be pretty cool

i remember when i was only wee lad, playing crash drive 2 on a tablet barely powerful enough to play and loving it to death, safe to say this game is the same way

as someone coming for ror2, when this game was being announced i was actually really excited because i never played the original. to keep it extremely to the point, this game blew away my expectations; buy it
