Never in my life has a game brought me so much joy. I am not married an do not have a kid, but I doubt either coming into my life will come close to the pure ecstasy of American Truck Simulator.

I've never seen a game so simple yet so amazing. It's one of the first VR games that I've played that doesn't seem daunting or so complex in it's systems and controls that it would make me hesitant to try to play it. Make no mistake, this game takes skill (which I lack) to play well, yet it only a basic grasp of being a paraplegic monke to start playing. The movement system is the most satisfying one I've ever played in a VR game and surprisingly didn't cause me any motion sickness. It is easy on my PC to run to the extent that I suffered no performance drop when I accidentally left another game running in the background. I recommend anyone play this game who has a VR headset. I am astonished by the fact that this game is free as well, I'm more engaged by this free game than I am in games like Gorn and Budget Cuts which cost a fair deal of money for someone as broke as I am. I have one warning though, if you don't have about 2-4 foot of clearance outside your arm-span you WILL break anything in that area, I've punched my wall, chair, ceiling, desk, and PC tower playing this game. I have never swung my arms so violently in my life than I have while playing this game. It's all worth it to chase down your friends while screeching like a howler monkey to instill the fear of god into them.

IDK, The game is obviously P2W unless you mod the game. Toxic AF most of the time. Fun to vibe with friends though.
