For a remake of the original Half Life, It's a very close remake. The "new" black mesa is a lovingly-crafted recreation of the original. The difficulty is still challenging and the storytelling remains the same. Classic weapons such as the Crowbar, Shotgun, Crossbow, Tau Cannon, and Gluon Gun are still recognizable and iconic as ever. Highly Reccomend for anyone wanting to relive the Good Ol' Days of FPS.

Honestly, I HIGHLY reccomend this game to anyone wanting a "New" way to play A JRPG. The characters are lovable, the settings and music top notch, and to top it all off: 3 Ways to play! At first, I thought that it would play in a Final Fantasy type way, but I was blown away by everything about it. The Bullet-Hell-esque battle system is sure to keep anyone on their toes and (Unless you go for the Genocide run) you aren't gonna have a bad time.
