Activision can suck my left nut

I was murdered with a shovel and my body pawned off for $4 so my crew could meet corporate deadlines.. 10/10 experience

Honest review,
This game will not be for everyone.

Plots good, gameplay is very good, everything runs real smooth, and the graphics are great.

After the honey moon phase of the first 2-3 levels however, you'll realize you might be in over your head. Or maybe you missed something.. You will get lost a lot and you will backtrack a whole bunch more. Even with the Wiki guide you still will struggle. Found a unique item? Nice, but you won't need that for another 3 hours.. Code to open the door? Maybe in the audio tapes you found, maybe on a completely different level. Some levels you will enter and try to complete only to realize after that you were missing the gear needed. I haven't even mentioned how often you will die yet, but you'll either become morally okay with "save scumming" or simply not finish this game.

Still reading? Okay, honestly yes this game is worth your time. Lots of unique experiences and if you love sci-fi, it's top notch. As someone personally who always wanted to experience System Shock, This was perfect. Even so that I pulled the trigger on SS2.

Short but perfect.

The puzzles are straight forwards and the map system helps save a lot of time that would be wasted in other games. Atmosphere is eerie but never over the top scary, and the animations are really neat.
I would definitely recommend this game to someone who like First person shooters, Resident evil game-play, and Retro styling.

But if you do play, Beware the beast..
Only the Holy hand grenade of Antioch could spare you from him. Good luck..

Scorn is beautifully disgusting, and very ambiguous.

I can say after having played the game, listened to interpretations of the story, and read the artwork book,
that this game will leave you with many open thoughts. The universe within Scorn is very intricate and leaves a lot on the table. Even the developers noted in the book that they are not entirely sure what lies within.

That being said, it has left an impression on me.
I hope to see Ebb Software continue to write and expand upon Scorn.
