One of the most immersive games i've ever played! You can tell how much love the developers have put into this game by just walking around and paying attention to all the little details they've hidden within it.

Honestly this doesn't need a review, but just know if I could waste the rest of my life playing this one game I would.

Early Access Review
Secret Ponchos is an extremely addicting and fun indie game, don't let my Steam hours in this game fool you I have been playing this game for hours on end on the PS4 simply because I have more friends who play on that console.

Secret Ponchos is a very unique game, it has an awesome art style, the gameplay is flawless (I sometimes forget that Im playing an Early Access game), the idea is breathtakingly original, and the community is one of the best you'll ever find. You can easily chat with the developers on Steam almost anytime on the Discussion Boards or by simply adding them to your friends list and on Twitch by attending one of their weekly streams, usually held on Saturdays.

The game offers a variety of characters called "outlaws", each with a different set of skills, characteristics, and weapons, my personal favorite being Kid Red, simply because of his speed and fire rate. Kid Red is a very fast character, he is not extremely strong but he makes up for that lack of strength with his speed and rate of fire, I wouldn't really describe him as a spray and pray character but honestly that is usually my tactic when taking on other Outlaws as Kid Red. Kid Red Carries two pistols and sticks of Dynamite, his pistols are very fast and deal an ok amount of damage while his dynamite sticks, although tricky to use, deal great damage and are extremely usefull in battle. Second up is The Phantom Poncho, The Phantom is that character that all Outlaws have nightmares about at night when they are all snug in their beds of hay. The Phantom is a well balanced character, he is very strong and lethal at certain distances, his quick dash ability makes it easy to jump him in and out of battle quickly so that you can deal as much damage to other players as possible while also evading taking any damage yourself. The Phantom carries a shotgun and a whip, his shotgun deals great damage and his whip causes his foes to stumble around slowly for a short period of time. Next up we have The Deserter. Now this guy is a brute in every sense, he is huge, he has a crazy amount of health, he deals alot of damage, and to top that off he can heal himself! So what's the catch, if he's so great whats the point in playing as the other Outlaws? While The Deserter is pretty much a tank, he is very very slow, it is very easy for all the other outlaws to catch up to him and you'll probably end up dealing with many of them at close quarters because your speed allows for them to quickly catch up to you and for them to quickly run away if you begin to cause them too much damage. The Deserter carries a Rifle and a medkit, the rifle deals a great amount of damage and gives you a good amount of range while the medkit is simply used to patch up your wounds. Now we have a classic character, The Killer. Killer is a character that I feel is based on all those Badasses we see in old school Western films. He is an older outlaw that takes some practice getting used to but can be very lethal if used properly. Killer has an average speed and can make his away around the map just fine. Killer carries a revolver that is very lethal at the right range and a Hunter Knife that isnt exactly very strong but allows for you to finish the job if your foes are able to dodge a few bullets. Finally we have The Matador. Now the Matador is one of the trickiest characters to use, but also one of the most fun to play with, she is very fast and very lethal when used properly. The Matador really only does significant damage at very close quarters, She carries three Banderillas, which are basically like colorful harpoons you can throw at your enemies from a pretty close range, but she is very lethal with her cape and sword. The Matador is a pretty fast character that can quickly appear near you and just go to town using her sword and cape combo and then quickly find her way out of battle to regain stamina. The Matador is able to at times go invisible and sneak her way out of a battle or come up behind you when you least expect it. Although she is very cool and strong she is also very hard to use and would probably take a more experienced player to use her at her full potential. I know that there are two new characters but I am yet to try them out simply because I don't feel like spending 5 dollars on a new character.

All in all the developers have done an amazing job at balancing the game so that no matter what Outlaw you choose to play as you have as much of an opportunity to kill your foes as they do to kill you.

My only complaint about this game would be what I mentioned earlier about the new characters being dropped in as five dollar DLC's.
