Looks great! A nice improvement from old ARK. It does have some performance issues, however, turning off nvidia reflex, DLSS on quality, and a mix of medium/high + gave me quite an acceptable fps. Not a review as such, but it is quite decent.

Nice
Edit:
And 100 hours later almost, and with the addition of the Phantom Liberty DLC it's one of the best games i have ever played and an absolute 10/10. If you want a game filled with fantastic design, intrigue, story, characters and more, play this. You won't regret it. It might still be janky at times, but it is phenomenal nontheless.

Combat System: The combat system in this game is a standout feature. Its versatility allows players to customize their combat style to their liking. As you hone your skills, the gameplay becomes increasingly rewarding and empowering. A notable improvement is the inclusion of dismemberment, addressing the less impactful feel of combat in the previous game. With this feature, lightsaber combat feels more authentic and true to its lethal nature—though a bit more dismemberment would have added a little more to the immersion! (Jedi Academy style!)

Visuals: Visually, the game is a spectacle, boasting detailed environments and character designs. Characters such as Cere appear more lifelike, and the meticulous detailing in figures like Cal is praiseworthy. The graphics for the lightsabers have seen a marked improvement, resembling the vibrant and powerful glow of the prequels, a significant step up from the dimmer illumination of the first game.

Story: A compelling narrative-driven journey that is both emotional and engaging. Cal's transformation from the naive character we knew from the first game to someone more humble, fearful, and uncertain is noteworthy and is handled well in my opinion. The story fits seamlessly into the broader universe, adding depth and dimension. And a major narrative twist that took me by surprise.

Map Design: The maps are less confusing this time around, providing a smoother player experience.

Customization: The game offers a plethora of customization options, from outfits to hairstyles. There are many cool color choices, and the extensive lightsaber customization allows for unique and distinct looks.

Without giving too much away, there are some stellar combat sequences. The introduction of the blaster is a welcome addition, providing even more variety to combat compared to the first game. Although my personal preference leaned towards the blaster and single saber combination, there's something for everyone. The boss fights were challenging; for a couple of them, I had to reduce the difficulty from Jedi Knight. In hindsight, had I practiced more patience, as the game often advises, I probably could have overcome these challenges on the initial setting.

Critiques: While the planet choices are understandable, more variation and unique planets to explore would have been appreciated. There are more side missions, but they could benefit from being more diverse and intricate. The reward system, especially for exploration, could offer more than just cosmetic alterations. I bypassed some exploration opportunities, but there's definitely more content to uncover. I clocked in around 30 hours, balancing main and side missions. There were occasional performance and animation issues, which could be due to the high-resolution settings I played on. There were moments of lag during planet selection on the ship. However, many improvements were evident compared to the previous game, with room for more enhancements in future iterations. Some do critique how characters like Dagan Gera were handled, but i think they did it well and explained what we needed. Although, i do feel the earlier parts of his story when you meet him could have been fleshed out a little more.

Final Score: A well-deserved 8/10.

100/10 no other game like this. This game really exemplifies what "creating your own story" entails. An adventure can last for 30 hours before your character meet it's end, or 5 minutes. No other games quite like it. DayZ can be extremely frustrating at worst, and extremely awesome at best. The game has it's fair share of issues, vehicles is never something you enter with an expectation of leaving one alive. Many other games have tried throughout the decade DayZ has existed for, no other game has come close in all of it's aspects.

If you give it a chance, you might have some of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have, and at the same time some of the worst. If the vanilla experience leaves more to be desired, mods and other maps gives you plenty of options for other adventures to be had. But remember, the line between foolishness and bravery is a thin one in dayz..

The grind is insane sometimes as well as taming. But other than that it's a highly addicting and fun game, that always leaves you with wanting to play five more minutes. As well as it featuring dinosaurs, and other creatuers that once existed. Which is pretty cool as well as something you can learn a bit from.

Fantastic!! The last good capcom game. This game is 10 years old and with the release on PC already better than any other games released this year.
