Devs removed the only reason people played this game in the first place.

I love Subnautica and this game is gonna be good too. I know it.
It feels like a new map for Subnautica, which is pretty good. Not too many changes were made and that is also good. Putting the frame drops and bugs aside there is only one thing bothering me.

The main character is not silent.
It really breaks the immersion and atmosphere the game had in the beginning. It's not just the fact that she IS talking.
Her character is just plain bad. Her lines are extremely pretentious and unfitting. She has no redeeming qualities and doesn't really feel human. I think it is really sad when a badly written character is all it takes to almost ruin this game.

All in all i still recommend the game. Just ignore the main character.

Edit: Refunding the game now, i don't have any hopes for this one.

Ich hab nichts gegen eigene Meinungen, aber ich verstehe einfach nicht wieso dieses Spiel so gefeiert wird. Ich weiß, ich weiß, es ist early acess, dennoch hat das Spiel meiner Meinung nach sehr wenig Potential auch nur ansatzweise besser zu werden. Ich
habs mit meinem Freund ein paar Stunden oder so gespielt und ich kann einfach nur sagen: "WTF?". Am Anfang hats Spaß gemacht blöd rumrennen, Leute verarschen oder die schlechte Ki der Zombies auszutricksen. Doch wenn man mal ernst spielen will ist das leider unmöglich da man dazu entweder die gesamte Map und sämtliche Militärstationen auswendig kennen muss oder man hackt einfach (für mich kein Problem ist aber langweilig). Außerdem noch zu den Entwicklern: Ist es zu schwer den Zombies ein paar Properties der Spieler zu geben damit, wenn sie gegen eine Wand rennen auch gegen eine rennen und nicht durch fliegen? Fazit ist für nichtdurchschnitt-Menschen wie mich ist dieses Spiel ein absoluter Fehlkauf da es all die Cliches der jetzigen Spiele erfüllt die im Trend sind. Das wars dann von mir.

To all those Amnesia fans out there, dont buy this game its a total flop. They took everything good from amnesia away like sanity, the oil for the lantern, the item collecting etc. At the beginning the game was chilly but at the end it got like an action game which really ruined the atmosphere. And now a message to Frictional Games: Never ever leave the development from Amnesia to The Chineseroom. It made a sh*t game out of it.
