10/10 modern masterpiece.
if you haven't heard about this game before, great! It is worth sparing yourself spoilers for your first-playthrough experience. HollowKnight is a masterfully-crafted modern metroidvania that does exactly what it needs to do, nothing more nothing less, and does it well. It does not do anything new, but it does everything we know it needs to do to an exceedingly high degree and more.
I always thought "they don't make games like they used to", but Hollow Knight is a refreshing contrast to that idea. Marvelous! Bravo!
And bonus, this game has a modding community with metroidvania logic item randomizer. There hasn't been a decent one of those since ALTTPR.
10/10 modern masterpiece.

it's an alright factory game, a bit rampant with bugs and unnecessary features, singleplayer zone caching is funky to play with at the best of times, and lag is often an issue with larger factories. Multiplayer is in a constant state of desync, and the UI is a bit of a mess. It's cool this game works on a phone, but the controls are just horrid. It's like this game was someones second passion project, which started off well, but has since been maintained by free contributions from the community and developers-in-learning, some of whom I have met and they just behave like pompous entitled children. About the only thing going for Mindustry is the fact that it is free and i'll leave it at that. Scratch that - it used to be free, today it is not really worth the money.

decent. 100%'d it. cheevos are reasonable. 30 min speedrun took a few tries. A nice take on the factory builder.

Fantastic adventure and edge-of-your-seat running and gunning without much running and conservative gunning. First play-through feel very long because there is so much to explore. The atmosphere and game design really lends itself to that exploration without it feeling forced or like it is a chore, instead I find myself eager to find out what's behind every corner and was almost never disappointed, even if the area only existed to ambush me. Excellent replay value with unlockable items and weapons. Great game at the unbeatable price of free. What I dislike about the game is the two major parkour sections (parkour in this game suuuuuucks!!! but there's only two sections of it), and the bugs - man, there are certainly bugs... Fortunately most are not critical game-breaking bugs. The voice acting is cringe most of the time, but it is nice to simply have narrated cutscenes. Most notably disruptive bugs are predictable game crashes (the game will only load a limited number of zones before it crashes for me), and the telescope section towards the end of the game would almost never work properly but fortunately this one often self-corrected (going through the gate fixes the game's camera, and the door code is repeated even if you messed it up). What is perhaps most impressive about this game is how it always feels like an open world (and some sections are indeed extremely open world) while actually being mostly on rails: I only got stuck once trying to find where to use the Ronald Street key (hint: you climb through a window on the bus with a save cassette in it). Overall, I completed the game several times including on the hardest difficulty, proudly unlocking the disgustingly french FAMAS weapon. I don't know if I would come back to attempt unlocking the book weapon given its absurd difficulty, but I can see myself playing this again on occasion just for fun, and to eventually go through every piece of developer commentary. 9/10. I would highly, highly recommend for people who are into indie horror adventure games, or are looking for a good place to find out what the genre is really all about.

Glad this was made free to save me the time of requesting a refund. Great atmosphere from the outset, but quickly the terrible, just, awful mechanics kill it faster than this game kills the player. Unavoidable insta-kills, monster respawns way too fast, i'm sure this would have a great story but no one will ever bother to experience it. Barely even worth the download to check it out. There's a lot of potential here, but yeah... try again. Giving the player a game over every 30 seconds for unavoidable reasons does not make for a good game, it does not make it more engaging, it does not add to the atmosphere, it just makes you a terrible designer.

A nice and simple survival game full of interesting characters to meet, unnecessary crafting systems, and perhaps most fun of all, tonnes of instant kill mechanics guaranteed to ruin your day without any notice or means of learning where you went wrong, like a boss with a beam attack that instantly kills you (unless you pre-read how to beat that boss on a wiki), and mobs that can 1-shot you at full armor. For a free game it might be good to kill a few hours, but honestly suffers greatly from unfair, frustrating, and poorly balanced mechanics. Recommendation: Play multiplayer to have a chance at counteract being instantly killed all the time: friends can revive you, or don't play at all.

I remember playing this game way back in the day when it was in its prime.
Construction mattered, and it took skill to play.
The bots were beautiful and the community was nice.

But nowadays every weapon is a confetti shooter, how you build doesn't matter at all with a simple cube being just as effective as any other bot, the moderators are abusive as hell (it's very off-putting, they act like children on a power trip. Seriously.) and 9 times out of 10 you're matched unfairly with one of the teams massively outplaying the other one due to poor team composition (which no one can control)
AFKers and leavers run rampant, you'd be lucky to ever actually see a proper fight with everyone participating.
Not even mentioning how scammy-ripoffy premium is (and always has been)
Even the menus are just a jumbled bloody mess.

This game had so, SO much potential.
And for it to have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up as royally as it has been, all i can say is i'm impressed with how effectively they done ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. That must've taken some serious effort.

This game is not worth my time anymore, nor that of anyone elses.

Farewell to what could have been the greatest vehicle based combat game of the decade.
You had your chance, and you royally blew it.

Rest in piece robocraft.
You were great, for a time, and then you turned yourself into trash.
What a sad day in gaming history.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Great fun, lots of enjoyment to be had designing factory layouts and belts.

But it gets old after the first 1000 or so hours.
There needs to be more things to do in the late game.
Once you reach bots and max power armor theres almost no point continuing the map because you already have everything.

10/10 visuals.
This is the best looking game i have seen since Crysis.
Great stoner chill game, would love to see it in VR.

But visuals do not make a good game.
Survival gets boring after a while.
Can be glitchy in some places.
Some mechanics are not easily understood like stacking O2 bottles.
And it's basically "explore ALL the places and collect ALL the things".
Some questing objects to direct players through areas would be nice, i'm sure thats being worked on.

All in all this is only good as an interactive cinematic experience rather than for its gameplay.

Not really worth it.
Tedious and boring.
Feels like a wannabe factorio, but not as fun.

Would not recommend, don't waste your time or money on this.
