I can't believe I have never left a review on this game before. Where to start....

When I first started playing, I had a terrible laptop that could barely run League Of Legends at 30 fps. I wanted to play Minecraft so bad as I was watching videos on it, but it was so expensive at the time... I found a video about Terraria on YouTube and I was curious. I enjoyed watching people play this game a lot. It was a fantastic find. Once I loaded my money into my steam wallet, this is the only game I bought for a solid couple years. I played this game day in and day out when I had the time around school and sports. I have "beaten" this game a solid 50 times with each playthrough having different restrictions. The replayability in this game in immense. I absolutely enjoy playing it. Even today I still play it every once in a while.... Right now playing a mage playthrough. I highly recommend this game.

This game is very fun to pick up and play a few rounds. Once you get a really good run, you do need a pretty long break from it. These runs can last hours on end and it's constant maneuvering. I love it!

Such a promising game. It just keeps crashing when I attempt to enter into a match for any part of the game. Have to give it a negative for now.

This community is toxic like no other now. The meta of this game is anti-fun, the only thing people know how to do is spam or parry. Not many know how to successfully string or combo anymore and it's just sickening. I do not recommend this game, after every single match, win or lose, I am "trash", or "♥♥♥". I do not get very many ggs anymore and when I do they are followed up with "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ noob" and such forth.

Edit: This was probably created after a long day of losing and getting people that did that. I came back to the game 3 years later and it's a wonderful game. Some things still don't make sense but I need to dig deeper into hitboxes and hurtboxes to completely understand what's going on. I appreciate all of the work that the Devs put into the game. Especially with the Adventure Time Crossovers! Absolutely amazing! Changing from not recommended to recommend.

It's alright I guess

The only reason you see all of these negative comments: the mana system. The only reason people hate it is because it makes you actually have to think about what you're going to do. There are ways to get around it anyway. I 100% recommend this game.

EDIT: They fixed the mana system and I loved the changes! With those changes, they came with bugs. They have been fixing the bugs ever since and it's becoming more of a beautiful piece of work! I love playing this game, especially with friends. I still 100% recommend picking this game up, if it's on sale it's even only a dollar and worth the pick up. Good luck out there guys! Hero Siege 2.0 is coming with many more features as well!! Please support the devs and buy the game! I doubt you'll regret it.

EDIT: Incredible time sink and something I just can't stop playing even when I would like to. Still recommend this game.
