The game isn't "bad" but you need to understand what your buying with your money. What you are actually buying with your $50 is an extremely basic supply chain game with some grand strategy game mechanics thrown in. The core of the gameplay is you managing your supply chain of goods. The tools to manage your supply chain are importing good which you can import an infinite amount if you have a land border or if not they will be transported by convoys if you don't share a land border, you can also build more of your buildings that produce your goods, or upgrading your exhisting buildings with the latest tech. If that sounds basic for the core gameplay of a $50 dollar game its because it is. The balance is also quite awful with certain laws being so overpowered that you have to choose them and others being useless, the immigration system is completely broken and worse then the original Victoria 2 immigration system, AI is really bad to the point where a complete noob is going to outscale the AI, and perharps worse of all its completely devoid of any flavor or historical events what so ever.

The only reason I am giving it a thumbs up is because the game can be quite fun in a MP environment where you can compete with each other and form interesting supply chains with your neighbors. If you have no one to play this game with I would give it a massive thumbs down and suggest you keep your 50 dollars and buy this game on an good sale.

Why does Paradox bundle all of this together in 1 pack instead of spliting it up for $2 dollars each like they use too is beyond frustrating. I only wanted the European Unit pack because in all honesty Africa hardly ever survives into later in the game but apprently i have to still pay for African Unit Skins which I dont care about. Just offer the Pack Individually and it will solve everything.
