Not enough enemies... Otherwise, great game! I love the inspirations that birthed it, and I love you for making it.

Is it worth the price ?
As a key-8 to 9 times its value
As priced in store, worth even more.

27.99 is a very fair price in my opinion.

Good concept, good atmosphere, good level design, and a respectable price.

I got it elsewhere, played it, and, came to steam to see if the price was worth it, and, yes,it is, so, yea. Kudos.

As shallow as its first relaese. The only people wanting this game to keep existing as most likely of a young demographic, having had a few fun matches, and, clinging to the hope that there might ever be any more substance coming from the devs behind this game. As in the last release, it's a lazily made game, made for the sole purpose of cash grabbing, while epically failing at it.

Instead of giving you a reason to keep playing, there's just none... do you get that ? Yes ? Ok, then, you get the game. A few to several plays later, you'd have played the game in its entirety, there's nothing else to see here. What a waste of time and energy from the devs's part.

Update after a month of my final reiteration : The game hasn't received any new update, and, I don't know if it will in the future (despite the dev playing the role of an ever evolving agency of important and confidential mysteries), so, take my statement of the game evolving with the community-with a grain of salt.

Something to also consider, is that, even If his role holds true to the game world, a thriving community is also necessary to make it happen.

My final reiteration :

I will personally not continue playing the updated steam version of the game, since, I love it for the dreamscape, and, not for the dream chase the developer wants to create within it.

In summary, if you like chasing, and putting all your energy into something you may feel is of the upmost importance, go ahead. I think this game can become a very direct way of experiencing that.

But, if you like a walking simulator, and, a dreamscape for you to meditate in, like me, then, you'd be better getting the previous version of the game outside of steam. It is more aking to a dreamscape, as, like I mentioned, and, as the developer intends, this one will become more and more of a dream chase, than a dreamscape.

That's all from me.

-Before my experience below, I want to say that, while I enjoy the atmosphere, thoroughly, I do think the work it takes to create a world like this, while creative, is simply not worth the price.

As a work of art, I would be content with 3.99. 4.99 for the sake of earnings, given that 19% is taken as tax.

7.29, on sale, is too much.

P.S. I understand now that the game will evolve as the community grows... and, that puts the price more into perspective, although somewhat misleading, since, the content that will come, is not here yet. Making it a blend of early access, but, not really.

Taking that into consideration, I think 4.99 and higher as the game becomes more populated would be better. Or, 5.99, and higher if the game is really going to be backed up with a lot of ins and outs to be lost in moving forward.

Most new players won't understand that it's a movement, so, I'm basing it purely on if the dev has decided to keep it so.

Back to my review :

I played the game outside of steam, before buying it here.

This is what I expressed after seeing the screenshots and trailer :
This sort of freedom in concept and game development kind of reminds me of PS2 games. It's a nice throwback. I like when devs just enjoy creating what they create, for themselves.
Although I realize that my second statement is more geared towards dev experience nowadays, since, back then, people had a lot to lose for simple creations.
Shows how much more passion there used to be.
I'm beggining to see some of that passion ever so gently creeping back in through the indie world of games.

After around an hour of playing :
I'm loving it.
The atmosphere is mysterious and void (I managed to glimpse the outside of the map), while delivering synchronous sounds to the landscape. A real dreamscape.
Thank you

After a few hours :

I haven't gotten the chance to try the flashlight, or, find the phone, or the ghost kid, although, I enjoy it for the presence it brings.
I would've REDACTED the game by REDACTED it, but, given that it's just a dreamscape, although well made, I can't REDACTED to REDACTED the current REDACTED for it.
I would gladly REDACTED the developer REDACTED as a thank you if there is a place for me to do that.
:3

Some experience later :
The more I play, the more I notice little details. It's a very intelligent design.

As of now, I'm still enjoying it. The phone, ATM, and, VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS, don't really grab my attention, since, I've already learned to enjoy the dreamscape.

I find myself walking, and exploring a lot.

And sometimes I stay still, taking in the meaninglessness of it all.

It's beautiful.

P.S. I'm eager to play with VR. If I can afford it in the future.

Edit :
I wanted to venture into the meaning of the phone, documents and whatnot, and, to be honest, I hesitated at first, since, I had a hunch that it would be a game of cat and mouse that never ends. Curiosity got the best of me though, and I went down the path of restlesness. It was tiresome, and meaningless, just as it already is.

Helpful for the minds that can't stop seeking. I appreciate that. For me too.

I preffered the void over the water. Kind of makes it less mysterious.

Nevermind, I see more detail. I preffer the void, but, it's not just water.

Flashlight is nowhere to be found on the steam version of the game.
