oh my god its horrible. Cant do anything without people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over at every turn. No options to avoid people so your only hope is to be lucky enough not to be spawncamped on each and every god forsaken server.

This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flawed it's insane.

survivors move only a fraction slower than the killer which makes it nearly impossible to catch them when they can vault windows in less than a second, run around pallets and then stun you, have invulnerability and speed boost for a second, and a bunch of other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Queue times for survivor are horrendous when nobody wants to play killer due to the obvious imbalances. Why play killer when the 4 survivors are in a voice chat planning every single move, and even when you catch them you get blinded anyways losing all progress. Long queue times result in matchmaking doing absolutely nothing. Rank 20 killers can be put against rank 1-5 survivors all working together with maxed out tool boxes which make the only task survivors have even shorter.

The game is so f*cking survivor balanced that the devs don't even try to hide it anymore. Every single time a killer is somewhat decent they nerf it into the ground then just to impress the survivor playerbase (80% of the community or so) they add some bullsh*t perk that gives them yet another second chance or to bully the killer even harder. Not to mention nearly every killer, survivor, perk etc. is behind a paywall. Then when you pay that paywall you have to spend another 8 hours grinding to get them to level 40 which lets their perks be unlocked to all other characters.

It's a grindfest with nearly 0 balance, sh*tty devs that don't play their own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, $100+ dollars to unlock all killers and survivors on top of A SINGLE OUTFIT COSTING $10 IN REAL LIFE DOLLARS!

Please for all that is holy stay away from this game.


Edit 9/4/21: Game still sucks, cosmetics still cost a small fortune, devs still give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ on player engagement.

Edit 1/15/2022: Game is getting increasingly horrendous with lack of creative ideas driving uninspired killers and pointless cosmetics. Made player portraits look like plastic, made playing killer even more unrewarding with boon totems. I've never seen a game company more intrigued with driving players away instead of reeling them in.

Terrible at the start and terrible now even after the new "content" updates. This is a precaution for this game and all future Bethesda games as they will all be on the same game engine with the same dev teams.

Very great game with TONS and TONS of potential! Loved the itch.io FREE version as well. But my god the amount of bugs!
I have encountered dozens of them and some are very game breaking. Take note as this game is a whopping 20$.

• Scarecrows not doing there f****** job! I have seen birds flying into my crops (flew with the eating animation) and pecking at them and the scarecrow does nothing!
  
• Materials not spawning. I had just gotten my base set up when the game decides to screw me over and only allow materials to spawn if I am going right.
  
• Sometimes eating food didn't do anything. I was hungry and would try to eat but guess 5 f****** baked potatoes isn't enough for my fat-ass
  
  
  Aside from the bugs the game is boring as hell with tons of minor annoyances that don't need to be there! You cant dive into the water without the shark biting you like it hasn't eaten in a month which is really annoying because for bricks you need (2) sand and (2) clay which are both found by going underwater and mining them which you cant mine even 2 without getting bit. Considering you need 5 DRY bricks to create a furnace that's gonna take you a long time to get.
  
  Another spit in the face is that the devs aren't worried at all about creating new content no, no, no you know what this game really needs? Tiny little details and annoyances to slow the game down. What goes through the devs heads when they are add a feature that you cant create seeds from plants and need to go to a island to replace your watermelons that only give you 1/4 water and 1/16 food. Oh right I forgot I won world championship hot dog eating contest and can shovel 10 baked potatoes down before I am even starting to feel full.
  
  Overall a great game on itch.io but 20$ for this? No thank's! Please consider all these "features" before purchasing.
  
  (P.S. I know this game is in early access but still for a game that can only be remotely enjoyed with the company of friends you have to do a lot better than this.)
