Early Access Review
Basically, this game is like Conan Exiles from Wish or Aliexpress. It brings the lovable features of Conan, but the heart and soul of the game actually reminds me of typical Chinese mobile games, at a point the games gets as grindy that an adult with work and healthy social life just wont sit there to hit mineral ores with a pick axe... In every zone, the difficulty of the enemies increases exponentially, not by making them more technical, but simply by cranking up their HP and DMG multipliers --> typical bullet sponge behavior, spiced up with a million types of raw materials and crafting tables (but for what purpose? Most armors in this game are just reskins anyway... with minor stat upgrades), which results in needing to grind for about 5-10 hours for roughly 2-3 hours of enjoyable and noticeable progress, at best. (For example, You'll try to defeat those level 40-50 Claw Tribe members in your new red iron armor, the ones who beat you earlier in your bronze armor? Jokes on you, you won't notice a significant difference...)

The tribemember system is fun at first sight, but it's pure RNG since you might have to farm for 10-20 hours to find something valuable, because you not only have to find the usable candidates for each purpose but you have to level them up with a CHANCE that they MAY obtain useful traits (Or not...) with the added spice that each tribemembers MAY loose their negative traits (Or not...).

The boss fights could be interesting, but the difficulty settings above the basic level kill the whole thing. This is not a Souls-like game, neither in its combat system nor in its world and level design, yet it tries to feel like one... the result of this is that the bosses are mostly frustrating and demotivating.

After ~500 hours of Conan, ~350 hours of ARK, and ~600 hours of No Man's Sky, I dare say this game isn't worth more than buying it on a Steam sale and playing for 50-60 hours. (Even then, preferably with maxed-out multipliers so the player can actually feel some progress...)"

The game didn't achieve actual success by chance; it has the foundations, but the developers couldn't shed their roots. It's a typical case of trying to compensate for a lack of imagination with quantity. A great example of this is a detail my girlfriend pointed out about two hours into the game: 'Look, seriously, every single bush looks the same, and each one has a third leaf that's red in the rainforest.' This pretty much sums up the game. As I mentioned, maybe in 1-2 years, I would recommend it for around 15 euros when even the developers have likely forgotten about it, and even then, only with maxed-out multipliers... then maybe after work, you won't feel like you're hobby mining. :)

CS:GO Review
