It's an amazing game but it really needs multiplayer.

I have played this game for quite a few hours and all I can say is that it is, in my opinion, the best VR game ever made. First of all, I love how far this game has come. The graphics, game mechanics, AI, etc. have all improved dramatically throughout the lifetime of this game. The combat is extremely satisfying and feels very realistic, the magic is a lot of fun to play around with and there is a huge selection of different weapons and quite a few maps to choose from. I really like the direction the game is headed in as In the newest update, the developers have added the first version of a dungeon. The sandbox mode is a lot of fun for just messing around and doing cool badass stuff, but dungeons feel more intense (because if you die, there is actual progress on the line) and enemy kills feel more rewarding as you gain items from killing them. Another great thing about Blade & Sorcery is the modding community. There is a hell of a lot of mods for this game, the most impressive being the "Outer Rim" mod which straight up transforms Blade & Sorcery into a Star Wars game. This ensures that you won't get bored waiting for a new update as you can just get some new mods every so often to keep the gameplay fresh.

The only criticism I have for this game would be that weapons sometimes feel very awkward to use. For example, sometimes you stab an enemy and the weapon just get deflected off of them as if they were wearing armor. The only other criticism I have is that sometimes the enemies in the dungeons should very obviously be able to see you, but they don't. This isn't a big deal though as the dungeons have just recently been introduced and the AI will undoubtedly get much better.

Overall, this is an amazing game and I would recommend it to anyone. Playing it, you will feel like an absolute badass and just have a really good time. It does take some learning and you will need to practice for quite a bit if you want to start getting some of those satisfying clean kills for all your Blade & Sorcery montages, but when you do, the fun you will have is very worth it.
