good, excited for content drops and some control changes.

UI looks good but the menuing is not great!

The game plays great, overhauled stealth is awesome, limited gun selection however all of the guns feel great.
Movement is great, everything about the gameplay is pretty well done. The maps are good and feel a lot more worked on, but there is a distinct lack of content, map and gun wise.
Random voicelines by the player characters, and by the NPCs in the game are funny. The cops sound like they absolutely despise you.( and its great)

Customization is okay, but it could be a lot better.

HOWEVER
The progression system is ******* awful, not even gaining a little bit of account exp for completing a heist is terrible. It's all built around completing challenges. You can't even track challenges to try and follow along with ones you are trying to complete.

The UI is both boring, and pretty bad. Lack of colour and also a lack of QOL.

C-stack system isn't great, but it's not horrible.

Matchmaking post update has been fine, despite the lack of what seems to be any intelligence of random players found in online and immediately ruining stealth or not understanding they need to drop a bag to start doing the objective is pretty annoying. (although expected)
HOWEVER, there needs to be a solo only(offline) for the people that want it, because getting into an online lobby solo, and having it fail to launch, crash, or the server dying mid heist is awful.

If an offline solo mode is added, and the progression system changes to something that is actually doable by a majority of players, i could maybe recommend the game.

It's not worth the money right now. Wait until it goes on sale, or some big changes come to the game.

This. This is what a game is supposed to be.
You can play this game in any way you want, and almost go anywhere you want too.
Regular weapon combat is satisfying, the magic is great(maybe a little too good.), Incantations are fun to play with, even bows got a touch of fun added to them with some of the ashes.
It took me 100 hours just to beat the last boss the first time, and i still hadn't found everything after that point.
There are so many secrets and random areas you might not discover until a second, or even third playthrough.
I'm currently in NG+ at 150 hours and am just working on clearing up some of the stuff i missed. (weapons, npcs, etc.)
I still havent even started making builds for PVP on secondary characters.

Mentioning PVP, the Instadeath aura builds are annoying to run in to(the only counterplay afaik is to just run away until they get bored, or run out of FP.), as well as the Shield gunner builds. My experience outside of those kinds of builds have been fun, even invading at some of the higher levels(200ish) in NG+ have been a good time.

Aside from the random frame drops going from enclosed areas to the open world, and the few annoying pvp builds, this is a GOOD GAME, and well worth the money i spent on it.

Besides the MTX, the gameplay is awesome.
Brings me back to my favourite halo days, and this game lets you do even more in MP.
Waiting on the Campaign, Disappointed that there's going to be no Co-op campaign until next year.

We'll see on the rest of the review after it comes out in less than a week.
