I picked up this game based on some Let's Plays from Achievement Hunter, and got into watching the Pro Scene, and just overall really liked the concept. After playing for over a thousand hours I can say that the only thing I dislike about this game is the fact that I am not personally very good at playing it. I have fun every time I turn it on, and learn something new every time I play. Tons of characters to play, reasonably easy to unlock them with in game currency if you don't want to buy in, and a fun progression-based battle pass. Give it a chance if you want a tactical shooter!

I played a lot of the beta, and have managed to get a few rounds in on launch day. When the servers aren't being swamped it is a smooth experience, and super goofy and fun! The aesthetic is great, and the music is chill. I am going to encourage all of my friends to pick this one up.

I enjoy playing this game pretty casually. The story missions have always been good, and the lore of the game is fun to get into. I spend most of my time post-campaign in PVP and Gambit, and have a great time playing the competitive modes. Gambit alone is worth the hard drive space.

My biggest problem with TERA was that it doesn't make a very good first impression. The classes are gender/race locked, the cash shop is absurd (cop cars are pretty hilarious, but just not what I am looking for in a fantasy game, and the animations just didn't look great to me. Was fun for about an hour and then lost all of its charm.
