Great game, but I cannot in good faith recommend it when they have a leadership team boneheaded enough to think forcing account linking upon their community post launch is a good Idea. Sure, the war cries of thousands led to them retracting their statement and halting development of the feature in the interim, but with a fundamental understanding of what is best for the PC community as flawed as they've demonstrated, It's more than likely to rear its head again in the future, and the next time, they may hold their ground.

Original Review:
Great job on the delayed release of mandatory account linking. You all knew well and good that the PC demographic doesn't particularly care for such practices and as such delayed the release of this information to allow us as individuals to accumulate enough playtime to leverage Steam's policies against us and avoid a mass influx of returns. You truly are a wolf in sheep's clothing, no better than any other AAA Studio.

As one of the many who do not own a PlayStation nor ever plan on owning a PlayStation, I have no desire to integrate myself into their ecosystem, just to to play one game regardless of how enjoyably it may or may not be.

A good base but desperately in need of mods to flesh it out. If you don't already own the game, I would wait until the G.E.C.K is released.

Hooves down the best game I've played in a long time. This game is artwork through and through. The gripping story, side arcs, and unsermountable level of detail is second to none.

Best part: Story time with Kratos.

TLDR:
This is an uninspired reskin of Horizons 4 and I could not in good conscience recommend it.

Review:
The game still suffers from various bugs and exploits that have plagued the last few horizon titles. As per usual, playing with friends in the open world and in races often results in disconnects promoting a frustrating time at best and at worst the desire to completely quit due to the inability to finish a single race. The lead drivatar still outpaces the rest of the race making it next to impossible to win on higher difficulties without driving like a total scum bag. The worst offense of all though is the laughable level of security which is on par with every other horizon title. You are still able to connect CheatEngine to the game and exploit credits, xp, and your car collection without fear of repercussion. Even worse is the fact that there are already a dozen or so publicly available cheat tables to automate this to an extent and multiple trainers. This has lead to compromised leaderboard validity, the inability to play pvp due to untouchable exploited clients, and a growing disinterest in the game as the rampant and blatant use of exploits continues unhindered for the fifth time.

When players are driving around in unreleased unobtainable cars two weeks after launch that's when enough is enough. I fail to see what Playground Games and Turn 10 spent the extra development time on here. This game at it's core is nothing more than a reskin of the last title with a few new gimmicks taped on and a few old systems overhauled and rebranded as "new".

If you want to do some solo racing, then it's good enough for that, but if you are looking for anything more, I would search somewhere else. With the egregious failure of security, distasteful gimmicks, borderline manipulative "overhauls", and complete lack of innovation or iterative improvement of any kind, it is impossible for me to recommend this game in it's current state or for it's current price. If you want to experience this game, go pick up Horizons 4 for a fraction of the price.

Being an extremely casual player, I usually don't enjoy pvp style games, but this game is special. Even if you don't get into ranked play, rocket league still manages to provide hundreds of hours of fun with friends in custom modes. Definately worth a buy!

At this point, GTA V is a classic. It's been around for 6 years and has released on all mainstream platforms. It still receives large scale updates to this day, adding fresh content to explore and hours of additional fun. If you haven't played it yet, you are part of the one percent. With fairly regular sales on digital distribution platforms, it's worth picking up.

Cons:

No 21:9 support.
Note: Can be patched with Flawless Widescreen.

At the time of writing, the game launches Steam VR for whatever reason.
Note: Can be fixed with -nohmd in properties.

Pros:

Recommendation: Buy this thicc bouncy boi!

The game was a blast to play through, and like most other Bethesda games, once you have your fill of the story and vanilla world, you can always make the game your own with thousand of community made mods, keeping you busy for hundreds of hours.

This game was a visual and acoustic journey through some really awesome levels. The music alone makes it worth playing and if you let it, coupled with the levels, can entrtance you, really heightening the experience. I wish there were more levels but things that last forever generally lose their charm so maybe it's for the best that is was on the short side. either way, it's worth the bits.
