Nice sequel to the Palais Imperial game. Spooky in a cartoonish "Spooky Scary Skeletons" sort of way. It has a lot of the mechanics of the first game. You know, match three four or five, get the goodies and power ups to the bottom or sides of the screen. Pretty much Palais Imperial with a spooky theme. Still, worth it.

Probably one of the nicest versions of Bejeweled that I have ever played. The variety of game-modes are a real plus, too. The graphics are very pretty and the audio is good without being annoying. All in all one of the best "Just one more round..." games out there.

I have played various versions of Mah-Jong on many platforms ever since "Shanghai" came out for my old Macintosh 128k back in the 1980's. This is a very nice visualization of the game. Nice graphics, and sounds and the Egyptian take on things is nice too. It runs very well on Win 10 for me with no screen flicker or crashes or other issues. Plenty of layouts to play and on the tougher ones, you will be keeping one eye on the timer as some can be rather hard to beat (for me anyway). You get some interesting powerups to help you along, though. The price is okay for what you get which is a good-looking game with plenty of playtime. A good little time waster, over all. I can reccomend it highly.

What is Blockscape ? As I write this, Blockscape is a great piece of software for building fantastic structures and terrorforming. It has two different worlds in which to build. A realistic landscape reminiscent of something one might see in a Maxfield Parrish painting, or what might come to mind when reading The Lord of the Rings, at least when I read it, anyway. The other is a more surrealistic, albeit blockier, version with waterfalls and small streams and rivers. It is a bit "minecrafty" on first inspection, but this is more than just stacking big ugly blocks together. There are three different sizes of most blocks which come in several different shapes from ramps, corners and squares, to cylinders, triangles and spheres with a few more in between. There are many nice textures to use including several types of wood, metal, stone, glass and even lights. Blocks can be rotated, flipped &c based upon their position relative to the direction one is facing. They really seem to know what you want to do with them. Not always, but most of the time. If you want some examples of what is possible in the game in terms of creativity, check out some of the screenshots. It is quite amazing what players have built.
Blockscape also has a "game" mode which is a survival type mode but it is a bit lean at the moment. In all modes, you can get NPC's to spawn by building beds. There is crafting and resource gathering. I have not played it so I can not really say too much about it. That is being worked on, though and needs fleshed out. In time it will become more involved. One of the few complaints I have is the relative emptiness of the world. There is a good soundtrack (which could use a bit of variety, true but if fits with the game), swans and fish. Hostile mobs are one the way. But yes, it does feel a bit lonely at times.

Blockscape has many negative reviews presently, most citing the lack of updates, the game being abandoned or a scam. And yes, it was a hell of a long time without updates while the new world generator was being completed and Jens, the sole dev on the project likes to to keep to himself when working, although he did keep us posted about major developments and shared screenshots of the progress. But I can relate. I work alone too and interruptions knock me off the step but things have changed alot. He communicates regularly on the forum and answers questions when asked. Development has NOT ceased and in fact, I am sure it will increase since the major work is now seemingly complete. Now he can work on fleshing out the survival mode and getting things ticking over nicely. As for those braying that the game was a scam or abandoned ? Enjoy your crow, just watch out for the bones.

In conclusion, no, Blockscape is not for everyone. If you are looking for the next ARK, 7d2d, H1Z1 ad nauseum then stay clear. But if you want to express yourself creatively in a captivating world, and help support further development, then I would reccomend it.

I like this game alot. It lacks a bit of the old time sleazy pool-hall atmosphere, which, to me is a big part of the game. The settings are a little too modern for me but having said that, the game is solid. I like the aiming system and the AI players really need to be kept at bay or on the higher levels, they will run the table even though they can miss some very easy shots but like humans, they just plain miss now and then. I have not tried the trick shots much so I can not speak about those but if you just want to play some decent 8 or 9 ball, get this. It sells pretty cheap too. It just needs some snooker !
Oh, and some more pub-like settings. I want to hear my mates swearing in the background :)

Note, there are many complaints now about the devs abandoning the game and not updating in a bit so if that is an issue for you, take heed.

Great game for a freebee. I have played a lot of Tetris and since the pieces are similar I thought it would be fairly simple but instead I have had to order a few extra middle fingers. But since I already know how to swear in three languages, I feel I will prevail in the end.

I played this back when I was just a foetus in the 1980's. It was my first FPS ! This port works great too. No issues with it yet and it brings back many fond memories of slaying hordes of nazi's and zombies and nassssty dogses. Which kind of stinks because I like dogs. Well, not when they are trying to eat me but in general. These dogs have been indoctrinated by nazi propaganda. They made them sit up all nacht and read them passages from Mein Kampf until their brains liquified and they grew to dislike anyone not wearing a nazi uniform or at least who was not at a member of the Republican party. Or a priest of Amun, which leads me to suspect they are descendants of Akhenaten's own guard dogs whom he notoriously mistreated so they never bought into that whole Aten heresy. Polytheism FTW !....sorry got off track there....This game will bring back a lot of memories for you and also show how far the genre has come since the release of Wolf3d and SOD.

Nothing to do with the Steam release but interesting still. Has a lot of hints and information.

This is quite a nice game, even for Early Release. It is very pretty and in build mode you can do just about everything. The ISO creation system is fun to work with and fairly easy to get the hang of. You can design just about any vehicle, sword, or other weapon you can think of to have fun with. I have not played them but Adventure and Story mode also seem to have much to offer if that is what you are looking for.

The game does have some issues with lag and charactar control but the dev team seems to be working on the game and are good about keeping players informed about what they are doing and where they are going. I can reccomend this game very highly even though it is still EA.

The whole Serious Sam franchise, for the most part is a good bunch of games. Tons of enemies (Kleers...I HATE Kleers !) on screen and bent on killing you. Crazy weapons. Beautiful scenery. The soundtrack is well fitted to the game. LOTS of gore. Giant levels. Giant Enemies. Idioticly large bosses. But turn off the Dialog. It ruins the atmosphere of the game and the jokes are NOT funny. A nice casual fps.

Kill things and play with their corpses.
Weld things together and watch them fly apart.
Put thrusters on your airboat and kill yourself.
Put thrusters on EVERYTHING. And probably kill yourself.
Build insane machines and watch them fly apart.
Run over Dr. Kleiner with a Panzer.
Spawn Antlion guards, a Combine rollermine and let them have fun. Hilarity WILL ensue. Oh, and run.
Spawn four giant babies with shotguns and call them the "Shotgun Baby Deathsquad"
Download GM_Bigcity, spawn as many Hunters as you can and see how long you live without cheating.
See how the Combine fares against Revenants, Arch viles, and Hellknights from Doom 3.
Watch the game crash. Oh...trust me...it WILL crash. You Will make it crash.
Set off a hydrogen bomb and murder ponies (Not real ones. Those odious MLP ones.)
Play with Xenomorphs.
BE a Xenomorph !
Be a terrorist.
Kill a terrorist.
Throw a toilet at Hitler.

Other than that, there is not much to do.....of course multiplayer (which I personally despise and refuse to play.) offers even more activities

Note: All of the above IS possible. You just need the right Addons which are all free on the Workshop. SOME addons require content from other Valve games like:
CSS/Source
Day of Defeat
HL ep 1
HL ep 2
HL Lost Coast
&c &c &c
