I can honestly say that this game doesn't deserve the amount of hate that it is getting. I mean come on, the negative reviews are either that the game is using the unity engine (which is funny considering that everyone was salivating at the fanmade RE2 remake which was made on unity....) or that it's not a true RE game. This was never meant to be an RE game, and Capcom made that very clear when it was announced. Yes, it does take place in the RE universe....but that alone does NOT make it an actual RE title. I'm gonna clear some things up with a simple list of pro's and con's.


PRO'S
------------------------------
- Genuinely fun gameplay that isn't very difficult to learn
- Competitive atmosphere
- Multi-mission gamemode is a breath of fresh air when compared to typical shooter gamemodes
- Low launch cost
- Very well done character customization for a shooter

CON'S
------------------------------
- Player base is currently small
- Gamemodes are currently very limited
- Map list is currently very limited
- Controls are a little clunky
- Controller support still needs a little work


If you noticed, all of the con's that were listed are all things that are easily fixable or are already being worked on. Player base was never expected to be on par with games like COD or BF, but once people see that this isn't actually that bad of a game I feel that there could be A LOT more people willing to suit up and help get the playerbase off the ground and moving in the right direction.


Overall I can easily rate this game a 6/10, which will very likely be raised once the small list of issues are worked out and the community begins to grow.
