The combat system in this game sucks.

"What's that? There's an unarmed guy in front of you and you want to fight him? You're facing the camera towards him, pressing the direction and the attack button? Too bad, we will target the guy holding stun baton behind him instead. Oops, you took damage."

"Oh, there's a guy trying to hit you? But you cape stun someone else right at the moment before? That guy no longer wants to hit you anymore. Why did you press counter, there's no one attacking now? There goes your combo"

"You want to counter this guy's attack? Wait, someone is pointing a gun at you. So if you press counter button, you will immediately drop smoke. Oh, dropping smoke it is."

"You're in predator mode. You want to aim this gadget with right click-- Okay, taking down this guy because he's walking beneath you"

Urgh, other than that, I think it's a pretty good game.

Terrible servers - either the server desyncs or routes you to a 200ms+ ping server without letting you know, forcing you to commit to a laggy game if you're playing ranked.

Game of teamwork but yeah let's disable all communications as default. No text chat no nothing. You might as well join the game and destroy the buildings while your teammates learn how to pick up a cash box.

After Saber acquired this game, it went bad.
This game had an awesome modding community. Now modding support was getting less and less because Saber would occasionally make changes that broke the mods, while all they could provide were... contents locked behind a paywall.

I bought the game in 2021, and it was really worth the money. Saber acquired it in 2022 and QUADRUPLED the price of the game, and if i have to pay that much for this kind of quality? I'd rather spend it on some microtransactions in EA games.

I love buying CP at a cheap price.
I do hope Activision will offer more CP deals like this in the future.

DMZ is literally the "Losing all your hard earned things" simulator.
If not for server crashing, then it'd be for client crashing, making you lose hundred thousands of DMZ items value out of nowhere.

Don't you just love it when you got a good haul in DMZ, and the game just decides to crash right before you extract, not to mention poor optimization that for some reason it doesn't fully use my GPU + CPU???

Such a buggy mess, and the hardware requirements are insane. GTX 1060 6GB had trouble running this game at solid 30 fps at 720p

Imagine paying to wave hand in multiplayer

( i buy this because it's in Definitive experience when it was summer sale )

TL;DR : Single player is good, Multiplayer is quiteee good, but will contain much grinding.

Previously i pirated this game, and had like 80 hours on it, so i kinda want to support KOJIMA by buying this game, as well as having the online ability.

Things i like about the game :
+ Good graphics
+ Realistic gameplay, sometimes silly, that can bring you laughs
+ Various ways of approach, and ending a misson.
+ Quite attractive storyline.
+ Online : Quite competitive.

Things i don't like about the game :
- Konami
- I have interests in Metal Gear Online, but i think i'm too late for the party now. MGO rarely has players, despite the game has 2000 players at the same time, reporting from Steam.
- If you have played former Metal Gear games ( i've only tried Snake Eater... on an emulator [ 2poor4ps ], you would realize that this is a step down from where it was. ( still, a good game )
- Online : It's quite laggy when playing against other players trying to invade your base.
- Grinding at it's finest. Unless you don't mind run around, gather supplies, such as plants or metal ingredients in order to use for your guns, then it's good, otherwise prepare to gather a ton or cheat for them.
- Grinding also applies to capturing people as well. You can only get good guns if your base reach certain levels, and in order to reach there you will need good men with legendary skills. To have good men = capture enemies, and not all enemies have good skills.
- Also in order to have the best guns, you'd need 2 bases and more to store your men so that your bases would get level up and access to those guns. So to have more base = paying with MB Coins. MB coins can earned by buying it with real money, or play everyday for about a month before you can gather enough to buy one base out of 4 in total.

I had fun with it. I was playing on my friend's account before i decided to buy it on 90% ( since i'm poor af lmao )
Pros :
+ Interesting & playable gameplay ( not as buggy as other ubisoft's games )
+ Fun multiplayer ( like having players invading your world and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you from afar? i always dream of this )
+ Combat & stealth is somewhat between fine and good ( It's something you'd expect from a stealth gunnin' game )
+ Blackout ( dope ♥♥♥♥ )

Somewhat between pros and cons:
* Has kinda interesting story mode... has plot holes though.

Cons :
- E3 downgrade
- Had problems when starting the game on the Steam version and had to find workarounds.
- No customization. You literally can only pick colors & styles of your coat & hat, nothing else. Can't flex your cars with your own colors too.
- Doesn't have that much parkour since there aren't many buildings you can climb on, because you cannot get a helicopter.

Modes :
Multiplayer : Consists of 5 modes : Decryption ( basically it is Capture & Hold the flag but with technologies and stuffs instead of a physical flag ), 1v1 Hacking / Tailing ( invade people's world when they are on single player mode to ♥♥♥♥ on them. You do have the ability to stop others coming in btw ), Free roam ( basically GTA V's online mode but laggier and less aggressive ) and Racing.

Single player : Consists of 2 story mode ( if bought T-Bone's DLC ), many side stories, gang place wiping, racing, pokers, withstand the drinks, criminal busting.

My score : 8 / 10 . I wish someday they'd come back to this game and polish it a bit more... I kinda prefer this over GTA V's multiplayer, for some reason.
