All things considered, this could have been a mod for Elden Ring.

As a roguelike this is just not good. No meaningfull unlocks that give you a sense of progress.

The lock on system is somehow really bad. I don´t unterstand how they make it worse, they could just use the system from Elden Ring and not changed it.

It has a bad quest system. You need to select a Quest before starting an expedition. However, the quest is specific to this one character. If you play with randoms and adjust swap your character for the team, the quest is disabled, and even if you swap to a character with another quest, you cant complete it, because you didn´t selected the quest before the character screen (ofcourse, because you had another quest selected). THEN even if you have your quest and the character for this quest selected, only one quest can be active in one expedition. Another player also has a quest? Good luck, its either his or yours.

Adding to this is the reaally bad comunitaction methods. You have a quest? Nobody in your lobby knows, so you just start pointing onto random things in the map for the other player, because they cant see your objective! And the ping is all the comunication there is. No VOIP, no coms wheel or anything. Just pings on the map with the hope that the other players understand what you want to do.

No duo modus, which I just cant wrap my head around. (Duo Modus is announce but not there yet)

On the other hand, the characters and there abilities are good. Every character has a unique playstyle, the bosses are good old soulslike bosses and fun to fight. The gameplay loop, if it works, works very well.
