Robbing banks with your friends is fun. PAYDAY 2 is an action shooter at the tree root, and its branches are some RPG elements and different ways to go about in SOME of the jobs(missions) available.

If creeping in and get the loot and get out without the cops ever be the wiser, is your thing, then this games your thing.

If shooting a ton cops, covering your loot and your robber buddies is your thing, then, this games your thing. ;)

Theres an extensive skill tree branching into "Mastermind - Crowd control, support, medic" "Technician - Drills, traps & mines, gun tinkering (more bullets in a mag for example)" "Enforcer - Tank, Damage, Covering fire." "Ghost - Creep in with suppressors, and dps. (Increasing accuracy and stability and damage when using suppressors)"

Theres also alot of weapon customization, such as different barrels for some weapons, different muzzle attachments, magazines, optic sights, grips, stocks, and so on and so forth.
