when i played through this the first time i was in awe of the sound design but the times when i was left wondering where to go were a bit frequent but i am glad there is some guides that help make it easier to complete the game ... if this game had VR version i would love to play it as it feels like it needs VR but other than that the game is wonderful and the sound puzzles can be satisfying to solve simply by listening to them

while the game was fun and everything ... i hate the fact you have to bind it to a social club account ... since i forgot my old account info i lost about 70$ worth of content (back when the game was new) as i had forgotten my info and had to make a new account

the gameplay was fun
the graphics are great (for a game of this time)
the story is interesting

the fact it was bound to social club ruined it for me


all in all 7/10 have to buy again (glad its price went down)

its an everall good game

fun game and impressive scale of destruction

pros
you can break anything
you can fly anywhere
the earth is a decent replica of the real thing
graphics are not too bad

Cons
you are not allowed destructive freedom (even though you can break stuff the game does not want you to)
seems to lack proper stability
60fps frame lock
no steam VR Support even though it has PS vr support


all in all a fun game with alot of things i wanted in a game but a few changes would be awesome

if it were up to me i would at the very least get rid of the frame lock and allow the player to choose if he wants to break everything in a sandbox mode

price wise for what you get it seems a fair deal and a large game map to wander about in

this game is simply fun and after they fixed the net code issues it now is a blast to play online

that highway level is alot of fun with 8 people

10/10 would get tossed under the trucks again

while the story and graphics were nice and the characters well rounded with a great consequence/reward system i have a huge issue with the combat system (the meelee system i have not been able to use guns due to the stat wall)
if i can find a gun inside of the first hour i expect to be able to use it if i have ammo .. not to have this rediculious stat wall that has unrealistic requirements for using it

Pros:
graphics are great
World is large (very large)
alot of People (Npcs) with high levels of thought (mostly)

Cons:
Stat wall for weapons is rediculious (for guns and meelee)
Combat for meelee is clunky and unreliable/ unsatisfying


i really want to recommend this game but the combat needs to be fixed so that a large axe does a proper ammount of damage and the movements need to not feel limited while attacking

it was worth it when i bought it and surprisingly is getting new features ... it still supports Oculus VR and that paired with a Wheel and H-Shifter made this a great sim

Pros:
great graphics
Vr Support (a little jankey but once you got it to work it worked wonderfully)
Large maps

Cons:
No visual damage on the cars or trucks
traffic Ai can be annoyingly stupid at times (but hey real people can be ♥♥♥♥ drivers lol)

its pretty but i guess i missed the point of this game ... it is interesing sure but i guess i wanted some kind of story .. and maybe more exploration than currently allowed ... but i dunno .... buy it on sale if you wanna chill with some neat visuals or dont

i dont really have any pros or cons here as i only have like a few min in game

even though we have not seen a decent sequal yet ... this is the best flatout game i have played hands down .. the "main game" is pretty long if you decide to get into it and can be rather brutal at times but thats the fun of it ...

Pros;

Graphics have aged decently for a game thats about 8 years old
preforms really well
decent Ai
Great Rigid body physics and destruction physics

Cons

Sometimes wont start
weird compatibility issues with certain hardware
100fps lock



overall an enjoyable game .. if you can get it on sale (like now 10/21/17)
its worth that 5$
i would buy again if i could

i got this on sale for 9.99 and it even then was not worth it ..

problems

when exporting there is a moderate to high chance of crashes
the terrains are NOT UV unwrapped which makes it useless for using in other 3d applications
no native support for Blender Cycles node setup -Dealbreaker

incase you are wondering what my system specs are here they are

Intel i7 4790k @ 4.2ghz
32gb RAM DDR3 @ 1600mhz
GTX 980ti 6gb
Windows 8.1 64bit

i checked the ammount of RAM i was using for exporting and it never breached 8 gb and still crashed when trying to export "high resolution, Grass, Prefabs(trees water) Textures, heightmap"

if my issues were fixed i would reccomend but seeing as i doubt it will be even looked at (last update was not that recent) dont buy and save your money and spend just a tad bit of time making the terrains yourself as this application will only increase your workload not decrease it

this requires compatibility with Blender Cycles nodes and the "memory" issue needs to be fixed and the terrain needs to be automatically UV unwrapped then it will be a great simple terrain exporter ... but since it does not have those things its not worth the wasted time or money (glad i refunded)

it is a great little fighting game with alot of potential .. personally i feel it is a very great addition to my VR library

Pros:

its bloody

you can chop them up

sometimes other dudes are hilariously stretchy when you kill them

Cons:

Physics needs some tuning as the flail breaks sometimes and there can be instances where weapons stretch to infinity

player has 2 hit points while other guys have potentially a dozen (it should be a percentage thing not a 2 hits you are out thing)

Weapons can sometimes feel too rubbery

cannot strike with bow or stab with arrows (in hand)

overall its a fun game .. it just needs some tuning and it will be perfect (as well as adding a campaign and more game modes)

7/10 would kill a guy with his arm again
