I like it. Runs well at low settings, and aside from some weird things like it being near-impossible to actually make money at the start of the game and the slow pace of city growth (why is there never demand?) it's just a straight improvement to the original. Worth the money, I'd say, if you really liked CS1.

the loneliest vibes, just you and the ocean for what can feel like forever, but the sheer relief of seeing land after that 12-day crossing or of finally being able to buy the bigger boat, 10/10

the physics are really good too

A decent idea terribly executed. The new leader mechanics are fun enough on their own, but the fact that you're now severely limited in the number of leaders makes them somewhat pointless.

This game desperately needs an undo button. Unfortunately, it probably won't get one, since it's pretty old. The puzzles are *okay*, although some make no sense - why would a left-hand driving freeway need to merge with a right-hand driving one?! - but overall, it's just too much frustration and, even at the low price tag, not nearly enough polish.

Funnest Tales game I've played so far. The story isn't going to be the next Lord of the Rings or anything, but it does what it sets out to do pretty well. Fights are extremely fun, the characters are all pretty good, and the side quests are pretty good too.

The definitive space game. If you want near-perfectly realistic spaceflight in a video game, an extremely powerful and relatively easy-to-use vehicle builder, and a solar system close but not identical to ours to go and explore, this is the game for you.

<The "hours played" doesn't count the probably 5,000 hours I put into this game in the off-steam version.>

it's a fun time-waster if you can get it for $1.50 like I did, definitely don't pay full price though
