got this game on the humble humble store and happy to admit that the creativity of the game is fascinating. The fact that paintings and atmospheres can change in less than a second is very unique. Although this game has an interesting story about a schizophrenic painter.. You can buy the dlc inheritence where you play as the daughter of the painter and continue the story in her perspective.
Problems :
- The game's length is too short (It took me nearly 2 hours to finish the game)
- after a while the game becomes quite predictable
If I were you I would wait for a sale because for its retail price it is just not worth it ( on sale you can get it for like 3$)

I am happy to say that this game is something that will forever be ingrained in my memory due to its beautiful artstyle, responsive controls and AMAZING soundtrack. Every boss has their own soundtrack which adds a lot to the atmosphere. the run and gun levels aren't that bad but it can get irritating (mostly if you want a perfect score)
-The only problem I have with it is that when you shoot at projectiles that attack you. Sometimes it doesn't register and it still counts as a hit.
-When it comes to its length, well it is pretty fine. It should usually take about 10 or more hours to finish the game. If you wanna take the extra work and get the completionist route with a straight A or S in every stage. It should take you above 20 hours

Edit: I forgot to say that there is this issue where sometimes the save datas would be deleted. So make sure that before you leave the game
-go to search bar (press windows key on your keyboeard)
-type %appdata%
-Find cuphead folder and copy which ever save file you have on your desktop and do this frequently

Anyway Enjoy the game and have a blast with the best indie game of the year

This game is an absolute delight that caught me by surprise. At first I thought it was gonna be one of those boring story driven games but turns out I was wrong and I am glad I was. The vibrant colours of this game was what caught my eye along side with the character designs. The gameplay of the game is rolling around with a wagon and explore some amazing worlds while choosing paths that can benfit the player with items and upgrades and a more fun version of nba is included which does a fairly well job with some nice arena designs and some nice dialogue to go along with it (Even though this is my personal reaction the its gameplay, keep in mind that it can grow on some people due to the fact that it repeats often). The story here is very intriguing so far and it is suppose to be the developpers biggest application so I am sure that it will be worth it in the end

Despite all of those positive caracteristics, This game seems to suffer from a huge freezing issue where the audio would play in the background but the image would be completely frozen (so beware and hope that the devs go fix this problem)

This is an absolutely wonderful game with an amazing hand drawn art style, world and boss design. This game also has a very fascinating lore if you would take your time to look around and interact with all the characters.
This game is a most own for any metroidvania fan out there.
and personally I would consider this my game of the year

a really well made rpg. The beginning can be slow at first but after a while it becomes really enjoyable to play

This is a wonderful dungeon crawler that offers a nice story line, stressful yet satisfying gameplay, superb art style, an amazing narrator that makes the game so much more enoyable and a lot of critical thinking for the sake of your party's survival

An indie game that offers so much content. Which is always good
