What it Has:

New and much better or HD Remake Models For all parts
Sandbox Mode
Clouds and rocket plume effects are also amazing.
Smoke / Vapor trail is really only a thing if you can run on high settings but the rocket fire itself looks great on medium.
EVA on ground and space
Full KSP1 solar system
Built in smart SAS and updated launch UI (no flight planer auto execute)
Docking
Aerodynamics Matter


Whats missing or yet to be added:

Re-entry or really any form of Heating
Career mode / missions
Resources of any kind
Non-Planetary bodies
Interstellar travel
Add on support
Multiplayer
First person / Cabin views


your getting a much prettier KSP1 from its 2013- 2014 era in its current form.

we know what a great game they made and I myself have faith it will only get better
