Evasive is the worst mechanic I have ever seen in a turn-based combat game. Either you bang your head against a wall for 9 turns hoping one of your characters hits a perfect roll or you spend all your focus to forcibly kill it. Otherwise this game is pretty fun.

I kinda suck at this game but the times when I finally do win are so SO satisfying. It's enough every once in a while to keep on playing so you can continuously chase that same satisfaction and revel in your Strategy, Tactics, and Card Deck.

I'LL YIELD TO NONE! The Red Prince is the best origin character without a doubt. Even after 250+ hours of playing him, I still want to pick him up for every new campaign playthrough.

I thought about trying out this game one last time since the Official Release of the game had been out for about a year to everyone. Played it since Early Access and to say the least there has been a TON of bugs in this game... that are still there for some reason.

I played 5 hours of the story campaign and manually saved it into slot 1 (there were no other manual saves at the time). Loaded the game back up tomorrow and for some reason when I went to Continue it loaded a 3 year old save which I'm pretty sure I deleted. Thinking nothing of it I went back to the Main Menu to load games only to find that not only had it for some reason corrupted the Manual Save 1 but now all the Autosaves were of the 3 year old game instead of my new game manual save... and yeah I could start a new save since I only spent 5 hours in the campaign but it's going to happen again. The fact that I know this ♥♥♥♥'s going to do the same thing again is what pisses me off that it's in a "finished state".

So no. I don't recommend this game at all. The game can be fun with the multitude of skills in the tree but this was simply the last straw for me.

Gunplay is easily the best in the series but the story... is utter Skagshit. Tbf though, I don't think anyone could top Handsome Jack as quite possibly one of the best game villains I've ever had the pleasure of playing with/against. Very glad I waited 6 months for it to come to Steam instead of giving in to purchasing it on EGS. Plus I even got a 50% off sale!
