Early Access Review
I do not recommend this game unless you have about 8 friends that can play non-stop with you. It's good at first til you realize it's full of cheaters. Without a lot of help it's almost impossible to get anything done. At first it just felt like a brutal game. Now after I stopped playing, it feels very much unfinished. Yes, I realize it's early access. However, I played on version 9.0 which means it's almost out of early access and the game is so full of features that are easily exploited, there's no amount of work they can do to correct these issues before they release. Also, how long are games meant to be an early access before it becomes a feature? 2? 3? 5? 10? I believe this game is going on 5 years. At the state it's in, it'll never be worth the price of entry. They would be better off making it a free to play and throwing in cosmetics at this point.

I don't normally write reviews on games but I HAVE TO for this game! At first, I wasn't so sure. I mean what kinda off brand name is phasmophobia anyways? Then I felt like it's a horror game so a bunch of jump scares? Naw, not for me! But oh boy was I wrong! Grab a group of 3 friends and you'll have an youll have an AMAZING time! Worth every penny even though someone bought this for me as a gift. But I buy 99% of my own games and I've spent MUCH more than this on a single game and have had less fun. Pick it up, you WON'T regret it. I promise you that.

I wouldn't recommend simply because there is WAY TOO MUCH talking in the game. It gets old. I'd rather spend more time leveling and what not. If you're okay with a lot of dialog, I'd say go for it.

Only thing I do not like about this game is the warmongering penalty. It's to heavy on the useage of it. However, you can get mods that fix this problem. Thing is though, I like playing games the vanilla way. So I'd give this game a 4/5 stars.

At first I had problems getting this game not to lag and crash. Turns out it was AVG antivirus giving me problems. After using the disable AVG feature that comes with their product, I no longer had problems with this game. I can hardly blame that on this game. Or AVG for that matter. AVG is just trying to keep me protected. Anyways, after finding the fix to the problem, COD IW worked flawlessly. No problems what so ever in my 28 hours of gameplay. I bought this game honestly from a multiplayer FPS stand point. I bought battlefield 1, Titan 2 and overwatch BEFORE buying COD IW and although I found titanfall 2 fun, it got boring after about 15 days the other 2 didn't hold up well at all. I remembered playing COD Black ops on Xbox 360 and wanted to enjoy that same quality of fun on COD IW. To some degree I got that. Although the aesthetics have changed in a way that I'm not all that fond of, I feel like I can get over that. That being said the general feeling that is call of duty is still there. What I mean by that is the gameplay is still COD. The 2 things I don't like are, not enough people playing zombies and the awful supply drops. As in they shouldn't have put supply drops in the game. Oh and I almost forgot. The 3rd thing I dont like is spending over $100 to get the full game experience. I honestly feel like infinity ward is trying to milk us for money at this point. Let it be noted that I only spent the $60 for the game and I still feel like o came out of the deal okay. I got a team deathmatch on multiplayer that I play often , I got 1 zombie map that I play often and I got campaign that I still haven't played. The summery is COD IW is a good game in comparison to the other FPS released in 2016, it does 'nt have ANY problems that I'm aware of BUT infinity ward SERIOUSLY needs to stop trying to milk every penny out of this game. So uh yeah, form my stand point, although I get that people are sick of over paying for ALL of the features, just don't play infinity wards game. Buy the $60 version and you'll be fine and infinity ward if everyone does that, will stop their BS. That being said, I see no reason why this game should be SOOOO hated. I would totally recommend just the $60 version and no supply drops to anyone.
