Rimworld is one of the best early access games out there. Similiar to titles such as Factorio or Dwarf Fortress, it consists of good ♥♥♥♥. I would recommend it if you like exploring and ♥♥♥♥.

Honestly I used to have a thunbs up for this game. Overall, I believe this is a great video game and is one of the best I have ever played. Do I think you should play it? No. Newcomers to this game will quickly realize that this game has one of the highest learning curves of any game ever. It is insanely difficult to learn, and the client does a horrible job with tutorials that do nothing to prepare you for real games with actual people. Now, jumping is blind is impossible, but if you choose to do so you will be greeted with one of the worst communities possible, bursting with racism and blind hate for anything you do remotely wrong. The matchmaking system is one of the worst I have ever seen, putting completely new people with players that have played hundreds of games in the beginning, turning new players off. Overall, I would only recommend this game if you have the patience of a monk or four other friends to guide and play games with you to teach you.

Game of the year Material. Not only does Bethseda show that it can create a truly beautiful world, they actually realeased a game without the majority of players having issues. The new leveling system makes leveling fun, and running around the wasteland feels great, even when grinding for gear. The graphics, while not lifechanging, are a major improvement and the environments are immersive and beautiful. The new crafting system improves on the old ones and gun modifications are easier than ever. The building system is also intuitive and helps you feel like you are acutally starting your own civilization. Shooting mechanics are great and on higher difficulties, the game can be a real challenge. The dialogue system could use some improving, but for the most part conversations are fun to have. And finally, quests are intelligent and fun. No more "go fetch a ball", they are mostly different and fun.

Graphics:
8/10
Story/Dialogue:
6/10
Combat:
9/10
Immersion:
9/10
Overall:
8.5/10

I think that if you are a fan of shooters, rpg's, or fallout, this is the game for you.

While rockstar may have used shoddy business methods during the summer sale, I feel like this game is an amazing example of what next gen gaming should be like. With the massive open world, optimized framerates, and top notch graphics, it really shows what effort in the game industry can look like. I would highly recommend this game and all of the GTA games in general.

I said I was a priest, changed my name to Jesus Christ, then killed them all in their sleep. 10/10 better RP than D&D

Early Access Review
Rust, the game that will be the ultimate survival game once completed.

I found this little gem a while back, while playing Garry's Mod. My friend asked me if I had heard of Rust, the new survival game that was coming out. A week later, I was equipped with a rock and a torch on a dangerous server with 75 other naked men. I spent the next two weeks running around, killing zombies with an iron fist and my rock. But as I was killing the last zombie in Rad Town, a stranger wearing all black came up to me. He yelled over the sketchy Voice chat"Come." He showed me his castle, a giant metal structure rising hundreds of feet into the air. He ushered me inside and equipped me with a mediocre pistol, and some pants. As I left the building, he asked me what my name was. I responded, "Shrek". From then on I was known as shrek the zombie slayer. I would roam around the colerful land of rust killing zombies mercilessly with my handgun. Then the Clan came. They took my wife, my kids, my house. And I was lost. Then the man with the metal house found me, and gave me an m4 with a lazer sight. He told me tonight, we take over the clans base. I was afraid, they had my wife and my kids. They even took my furnace! There were 7 of them and two of us! But we went under the cover of night, with our rifles, and snuck through their open door. We found them in the corner, passing chicken meat and kevlar armor around. As they were distracted, we unloaded our rifles on the clan. They fell one after another, not reacting to our shots. The man of the metal house said follow me! He led me to their sleeping bags, which we promptly destroyed with our rocks. The man of the metal house then looked at me and shot me in the face. I never saw him again.

This was probably the most fun I have ever had in a multiplayer survival game. Broken, buggy as hell, but still the best multiplayer sandbox experience you will ever have.
