Easily game of the year...and the last few years...and next year.

Doing what battlefield should have been doing.

Although this does need loadouts, that would be grand

Amazing game concept, great co-op fun, unique gameplay. Loved it. Give me more!

If you enjoy:

- Regular bug releases
- Devs making absolute non nonsensical "balancing" changes by nerfing attackers in a game that has been severely defender sided for quite some time now
- Toxicity from people who have no clue how the game works
- Non existent anti-cheat (update: still don't trust the anti-cheat but shutting down a major cheat provider was a big win and has helped. Anti-cheat still ass)
- God awful matchmaking
- Constant delays to new content road map
- A community that demands new content then bans every new map that gets released
- Mediocre battle pass skin designs
- and just generally salt inducing game play
- oh and that membership update for Y9S2 is the most greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I know Ubi are greedy but this even surprised me.
- and now these lazy ass devs have started just recolouring event skins and releasing them instead of creating anything original.

then this is definitely the game for you.

Why do I play this game?...

As everyone already said this games a buggy hunk of crap. Game crashes in online multiplayer so no hope of enjoying a game with friends as there's no option to rejoin a game in progress, can't join based on save states.

Don't buy this junk, just play Monopoly on Tabletop Sim

I enjoy this game a lot. It has its downsides, such as games not working right and bugging out, i'd like to see more customisation of specific rule sets and would just generally like more content but its great fun to torture and torment your friends.

Before people ♥♥♥♥ the bed over me giving this a negative review, the gameplay and story are good and unique and i have little problem with all that.

My problem is the amount of game breaking bugs still in this. Especially in multiplayer. Bugs including but not limited to:
- Not being able to grapple up to new areas
- loading into games not only in a completely different place from where you saved and set your spawn point but also without any of your stuff or levels/skills
- getting stuck in the psychotria trips in the end sequence meaning players in the hosts game can't actually finish the game.
- items such as large sticks getting stuck in your hand so you can't use anything else and have to relog.

This game is clearly built much more for a single player experience. The multiplayer story mode seems to be a bit of a tagged on thing that they didn't QA much at all so yes if you're buying this to play by yourself.

Its great.

If you're wanting to play multiplayer, proceed with caution. Its buggy. Please fix your game.

Visually a great game with an interesting story for the most part however whilst some people were able to overlook the fact this is just an escort mission for an annoying little ♥♥♥♥ of a kid all throughout the game with a really odd choice of an offensive weapon this game didn't sit too well with me considering all the praise it got.

But i can somewhat see why people enjoy it so give it a try, sure why not

I thought Far Cry 5 was a bit of a step down from previous far crys in terms of lazy animations, game mechanics, lack of in game physics such as world destruction that previous far cry games have always had and thats what made them good. Well this kind of continues that. Also the lack of basic settings like separate audio sliders for the in game sound, characters and music etc.

But...

I got this game on sale, i played it looking for a easy run around, shoot stuff and do missions which it does quite well as Far Cry games do. So this game is kinda a hard one for me because whilst its certainly lacking on the above points and the main villains are a bit naff, i can't say i don't recommend this game. Don't buy it full price, dear god no...but if you find yourself bored and in need of some easy fun and this is on sale, sure go ahead
