Should rename the game:
"Backwoods Bear 4 Beginners: Build Beautiful Buggy Bedrooms, Bake Bussin' Breakfast, Bag Bountiful Bundles... But Becomes Boring"
Here's why:

PROS:
● Effortless Entry: Beginner-friendly with well-paced quests and accessible gameplay, for the most part.
● Relaxing Routine: Simple repetitive tasks, long days, optional sleep, and a lack of time pressure make for a laid-back and easy-to-comprehend experience.
● Convenient Commutes: Although walking between locations and collecting resources is essential, the convenience of easily unlocking fast travel through repaired bus stops is a plus.
● Adorable Aesthetics: The cute visuals contribute to an inviting and enjoyable environment. It's hard not to enjoy the aesthetic, and I look forward to them expanding on it more.

CONS:
● Glitches Galore: Unfortunately, the game is not without its fair share of technical issues. Players may encounter occasional freezes, map-breaking during cutscenes, malfunctioning rooms in inns, and illogical interactions by NPCs and guests, including peculiar pathing issues.
● Quality of Life Quandaries: Inns requiring daily visits, challenging building/decorating mechanics, and illogical interactions among guests and NPCs start to weigh more on you as you play. I found myself yearning for the ability to use only my mouse while playing, which is entirely possible due to the small amount of keybinds needed.
● Control Conundrums: Unintuitive controls and keybinds, partially functional key remapping for KnM, a lack of quick loot options despite promises, frustrating cooking mechanics, the absence of a manual save option, etc. Much can be done to make the game's mechanics more rewarding and fun without losing challenge.
● Grindy Gameplay: Post-farming lacks variety, offering little change in activities and no tangible rewards. The game progressively becomes a material collecting simulator without meaningful NPC interactions or surprises.
● Stale Storyline: Minimal NPC interactions, lack of depth, akin to Stardew Valley but with much less substance. Repetitive quests offer a hollow narrative due to their focus on mundane objectives already accomplished, providing no additional challenge.
● Decorative Dilemma: Cute decorations but complicated cost, storage challenges, and some impractical choices make them less rewarding, especially for players aiming to min/max their gameplay. Players who find joy in bedroom aesthetics may hinder meeting guest requirements. You can't have a good-looking room and please all guests.

As you can see, there are more cons than pros. It's challenging because Bear and Breakfast's charm in the simplicity of the mundane is also what holds it back from being a truly enjoyable game. Provided the development team listens to these reviews, it can eventually become a big hit. As for now, while it offers a visually pleasing and fun experience for newcomers, the overall story/gameplay shortcomings and lack of Quality of Life will likely leave more experienced players craving more substance and polish.

I do recommend it *for those easily pleased* but only get it on a sale.

its like the old one
but looks and plays better.... yeaaa....
30$usd for under 20 hours of gameplay- grinding the achievements and not skipping any cut scenes for nostalgia sake
It's worth the buy in my opinion but i doubt ill ever play it again.
