shows promise but the servers are so dog right now and i don't think there are any aussie servers

This feels like the same game at Early Access launch except the bodies don't despawn. The performance is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even on a 4090 save your money.

Get rid of this stupid eye auto adaptation it gives me aideses of the eyeball

the game it self is good but if you play it for any extended period and want to try multiple classes/weapons the crafting ruins an otherwise good experience. It is so colossally ♥♥♥♥ that is obv just there to extend player time and i just cant be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anymore.

While the Next update is a welcome improvement the core gameplay loop is shallow and lackluster as it was a launch with the same repetitive grinding and horrible inventory system makes this game a bore to play.
*Base building is alright but it often becomes tedious when you realise that you can just build everything in a freighter and live as a nomad.
*The game seems to go out of its way to bore you due to the fact that basic tasks require some sort of grinding less you become soft locked.
*For example taking off anywhere that isnt a landing pad requires resources. Using the pulse engine(not to be confused with interstellar travel)requires resources.
*The pulse engine puzzles me the most why the hell would it require fuel if you just put the fuel literally everywhere in space as it results to more mindless busy work.
*While some planets are quite amazing in apperance even barren ones it cannot redeem a game that had no thought put into gameplay at all.
*From what I've heard the game has performance issues but I didn't run into any problems(1080,7700,16gb DDR4).
*Multiplayer progress isnt shared for some reason even though it's coop only you dont progress quests at the same time thankfully most quests are braindead easy.
*Exo craft seem cool but i haven't had access to one because it locks it behind a really long quest chain
*They are multiple gamemodes like creative,normal(survival) and hardcore. I played on normal and apparently hardcore is even more of a grind. I know you could avoid the grinding by playing on creative but it seems pointless cause all that grinding is like 75% of the game.
*Last but most insulting is the damm price. It is not worth $60USD(roughly $83aud) and its a bloody hard sell even at $30. The game is all quantity over quality.

All in all probs like a 4.5/10
